So would any of the drivers who have replied like to be steam train drivers? I don't mean heritage lines but if our national railways were steam powered, with drivers still on the same salaries as they get now?

How do people find d the solitary life as a train driver. In the days of steam engines and early diesels, there were at least two people in the cab and you could have a chat whilst working. Even a second opinion on something. Perhaps that's a distraction. I don't know but I'd prefer it myself.

As far as I'm aware, I've never been asked for this forum as opposed to Tapatalk in general. Anyway I'm not going to clear my defaults in case it affects loads of others. Not sure if I can clearly individual defaults as opposed to everything Chrome redirects to. Thanks for your suggestion though.

I can't seem to get that to work for his forum using Chrome on my Android Lollipop OS. May be I'm doing something wrong or different.

If only one could get Web links from Google to redirect to Tapatalk on my mobile. That is what I use to read and post on this excellent forum.
