I don't post on this thread very often but a bit of a klaxon this evening as 150138 was taken from Padgate to Manchester Oxford Road, thus clearing the 150/1s since my return in August 2018 to recording trains I travel on.

That is the Northern unit with the Bentham Line livery if that's what you're thinking of.

Technically it’s half of 150209 and half of 150212 that were scrapped in the late 1980s. In both cases it was the 522xx car that was written off.
