Desperate scratch merchant! :D
Yes....I can relax now and only travel on the **** things when I need to go somewhere (....or come back again!).

I already have about a third of the 331s - only one of which is a West Yorkshire four car - but I'm not bothered about going hunting for them!

And now for something random:

29/12::
Densil on the Watford Miniature Railway

(Was on a walk today, saw the railway was in operation so gave it a little ride)

Just googled Densil, and he looks most entertaining! The Railway also looks to be conveniently situated at the halfwayish point of a King's Langley to Croxley amble along the Grand Union...

As the rain came down, forcing me to stay an extra night in Scotland, less trains were travelled on due to not many running. New ones were:

30/12/2022
385109
385120

I came across it after doing a gentle amble along the canal from Rickmansworth towards that park (not much point going further north due to no LNR services)

To save others searching, here is Densil: very cute.

I have no idea why, but for some reason I'm picturing that with some turbos fitted to the sides, or at least a small jet engine on both sides!

It does look like a funky little machine, it has to be said, and yes I have got it on my list of things to do in combination with a mighty big walk in the area. Of course, when I say 'walk' I'm more thinking of a speedy one with the arms swinging :D Kings Langley to Croxley along the Grand Union Canal, that sure wouldn't take me long

For the end of the year:

28/12:
Cleared for mileage:
378137; 378141; 378151
378202; 378214; 378215
710376; 710377; 710378

Down to only 1 more 378/1 needed for ten miles and 4 more of the dual voltage units. I can sense more Caledonian Road deckchair sessions coming up

29/12:
Cleared for mileage
LU21113/21114 [always nice when a sub mile S8 pops up on a required move]

30/12:
66623 (From the UK Railtour)

31/12:
Cleared for mileage:
710267 (saw this rolling in the bay at Gospel Oak and did a U-turn on the 378 I was on to get it in for over ten miles)
LU92172

I was hoping to finish the year with a required Azuma but there wasn't anything required showing stopping at Stevenage yesterday, although LNER was having a bit of a nightmare of a day for cancelled trains
