Okay, I'm going to do this without Google. I think S is going to be South America.

Port Stanley or South Georgia?

Failing that, I would go E for Ecuador and since I don't know the capital, how about the Galapagos (spelling?) Islands?

Your first point is correct
Your second point is incorrect
Your third point is correct...Ecuador is the country, but whilst the Galapagos Islands do have airstrips, the clue that I set is not one of them.

I know that the main cities are Quito (the capital), Guayaquil (the largest), and Cuenca (world heritage site), but otherwise I don't know. Quito maybe?

Also, why when looking through this thread is literally the third code challenge EGMC? That's the only 4-letter code I know! I could have had that!

I know that "U" is the former USSR, but something tells me this isn't in Russia itself. Tbilisi International?

Also, why does the Forum always seem to go into slow-mo mode at approximately 01:25? Or is it just me that has that problem?

Slo-mo or not, I'm going with Armenia. At school (pre internet, obviously) I used to study maps of the world. I just need to cast my mind back a couple of years. It's in there somewhere.

The capital of Armenia is Yerevan, but I'm guessing it's not going to be UACC.

Belarus, Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine have Minsk, something, Tblisi and Kiev as their capitals. Is it the one I can't remember?

Of all the answers since I set the last clue, the above quote came nearest to finding a region, but anything in postings after that was not achieving anything. To put all of you out of your misery, the correct answer is:-

UACC is Astana International Airport, Astana, Kazakhstan.

I will now set one further clue, but I do not intend to set any more after this one until someone else decides to do so.

The clue this time is that we again have moved to another continent (for the third time) and the code now to solve is....FEFF

In answer to one or two PM received and allowing almost a whole week to have elapsed, the answer to FEFF is:-

Bangui M'Poko International Airport, Bangui, Central African Republic.

Bangui is the capital city of Central African Republic, so the clue was not an obscure airport in that country.
