Yes they are Leicester's, *IF* bustimes.org is to be believed then 10 have entered service so far.

the added windows upstairs at the front make them feel less closed in than the earlier examples.

Indeed I mentioned that previously. After its one or two days working, it sat outside the front of the workshop side at Ascot Drive for at least a week - which is often where they seem to park broken vehicles awaiting repair. Its disappeared from there now, so maybe it has been / is being done.

I've photographed all of 8024-32 so far. One, possibly 8033, was tracking on the 127 a few days ago as 1905 but seems to have disappeared altogether since.

By the looks of it, the remainder of the Electroliners for Leicester will be registered as 25-plates, so 8034 onwards probably won't enter service sooner than next week.

In theory, however there maybe some local agreements through Enhanced Partnerships which also impact on dates.

One of seven 25 plated deckers for Leicester, at Derby Ascot Drive. Certainly 25 plated.

The ex Merseyside VDLs in Derby are certainly getting painted. Saw 3713, 3721 and 3723 within minutes this morning.

All of the ex Liverpool E400s in the 44xx batch are supposedly going down south (its either Luton or Milton Keynes) with some already making the move down.

Doubt Derby will get anything but you never know.

15 vehicles have already headed up to Yorkshire and you are suggesting that a total of 14 (including a few that have already made the move) are heading down south which would be a total of 29 vehilcles leaving Leicester. Given there is supposedly 27 new vehicles entering this would leave Leicester 2 vehicles down even before considering any additional moves so I think it is pretty safe to say there is nothing for Derby (other than potentially 4202).

I believe that's one of the 47xx Geminis from Thurmaston.

Looking at the fleet list on BusTimes I noticed one of the Thurmaston 72 plate deckers hasn't run since December 22nd last year. The bus in question is 4558, YX72 OEB. Anyone know why? Or is it a BusTimes glitch?

Where are you getting 27 from? There are 25.

27 is the number that has been floating around both on here and other websites and given there appears to be 29 vehicles said to be leaving or having already left it seemed to make more sense than 25 but I've seen no official confirmation either way.
It may well be that someone has misunderstood the future (very much longterm and unconfirmed) desire to purchase 2 additional vehicles to allow for a P and R at the Racecourse as there certainly will be no need for these vehicles in the foreseeable future.

Milton Keynes (MK) will be receiving all the MX09/CX58 Reg E400s.

We already have 4431/2/6/7/9 out on MK services already.

They are supposedly replacing the 39xx series Volvos we have and the Volvo B9TL ELC/Optare Olympus vehicles (4101-5) which have transferred to Luton (LN).

Good they're awful buses, I had one on the 31 last week and the bus behind overtook us as it was that slow
