As much as having gen can be helpful - particularly if you don't have the time to sit around all day hoping to see one train/loco - I do find it much more fun to be out and about and and it being a total surprise to see something 'out of the ordinary'

I completely agree but every time a train comes on the fasts I’m on edge thinking is it or is it not the one!? I like surprises but I could waiting all day at the same time!

It's weird how many people suddenly have opinions on liveries once an LGBTQ+ Pride train rolls out the paintshop. Long may they continue to be irked.

It's going to be one of those garmish marmite liveries I think. I won't judge until I've seen it in person though. This is proof that the garish liveries era is far from over yet!

Just seen 390119 go through Crewe on Railcam with the 0700 Liverpool to Euston service, so it will be out and about today.

It truly is! The small details, like using inclusive flag designs, really stand out. That and the fact that the train is truly stunning now!

I find pride liveries irksome. They're meaningless tokenism.

It's truly hideous, isn't it? I much prefer the other ones we've seen so far where it's been a variant on the existing livery such as rainbow stripes etc.

Agreed. They should have spent the time and money making the interiors a lot brighter. Dunno if they have done that, fair play if they have, but the whole exterior was unnecessary.

It really is amazing isn't it? The more I see of it, the more I love it. I'm really struggling to see what there is to dislike about it! Avanti are certainly getting everything right with their liveries - hopefully the interior refurbs are equally as good.
