I understand that she can be annoyed but we’re waiting very long time to start so it’s obvious we’re trying to get any information. But anyway it wasn’t me calling so often

Since I got on the waiting list I had been calling every three weeks for updates. The called me up and she offered me the
I just called TfL and I've been told my screening is complete but all the courses upto August is fully booked. Its most likely I'll be on one of the Autumn courses but if anyone drops out before then il be put on the earlier course.

I just have to wait for the call now but it could be a very long wait.
I don't think you will have to wait much longer. The reopening of the night tube in May will create the need for more CSAs and like you said someone may drop out and open up a slot. I hope you get the call soon

Have they still not contacted you? That is outrageous

Has anyone who had their final interview on Dec 16th heard literally anything back yet??

Just a thought, have you gone through your spam folder to check all emails? And also check to see your status online when you log in

Dbs takes around 5 days maximum. They do basic checks

Update :- I am starting my training beginning of July.
They will call everyone within 6 months of medical.

Congratulations! Hope everyone will start soon!

By the way, I was just wondering if they’ll change the salary for CSA2 because of increasing the minimum wage? Does someone asked them? I’ve got the contact but the salary is the same as it was last year so I’m not sure if something will change..

Not sure what you mean about minimum wage. Do you mean the recent LUL salary increase? If so then yes, CSA2s were included.

Hey everyone, how are you all doing? Any updates?

Also, what’s the turn around normally for the Reed screen process. I know most people will be on an individual basis but I’m just wondering what the average turn around is for the whole pie chart completion thing is?

From filling out the online bits for DBS to actually being contacted to let us know it’s done?

My DBS has now been completed and returned all fine with all relevant info sent off

For anyone that’s interested, just got a call from Katie TFL recruitment and she has confirmed my training date the first week of July this year.. so I’m officially work ready! Deffo didn’t think I’d have a date until at least September so this is great news!

How is everyone else coming along?

Congratulation to all of you! I’m starting next month! Ive been offered July as well but I’ve took a last spot in June! Hope I’ll have a good location, that’s what I’m most afraid of

Congratulations to you too. Are you nervous or excited? I don’t know what to feel! This has been going on for what feels like an eternity.

No more paying for travel in London and a hell of a lot more money in our pockets

Haha, waited so long almost gave up.

Likewise, I felt like that too in total one I start in July it would have taken exactly 13 months since originally applying last June

I am excited as I’ve always wanted to work for tfl but at the same time I’m stressed a bit how it’s gonna be. As I’ve said mainly because I don’t know where I’m gonna be. Wish we could know our stations before training.
And free travel is definitely a bonus!

I only heard good things about tfl as an employer. I have few friends working for them. Supervisors and train drivers too.

Let's hope for the best

Does anyone know after getting more experience, is it hard to get a promotion for a higher position?

7.4 weeks for CSA2
10.4 weeks for CSA1
Technically, the annual leave entitlement is 37 days for both CSA1 & CSA2.

However, CSA1s accrue 15 banked rest days doing the extra hours (making 52 days away from work).

After getting signed off (probation period 6 months) you can apply for other positions. Csa2 is your foot in the door. This sets tfl apart from other dead end jobs.

Has anyone received the contract yet?
