Where and when do the remainder of the LNWR 319's operate and when roughly are they expected to be withdrawn?
Try the Part Time Spotter Blog for diagramsWhere and when do the remainder of the LNWR 319's operate and when roughly are they expected to be withdrawn?
Many thanks Defiance 149 - really helpfulThere's a lot of trees in the way, go to 5.22 www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLOCKioDW9s&ab_channel=DestinationTrainsPlanes
Wikipedia suggests 15 - 319361, 319366–319370, 319372, 319375, 319378–319379, 319381, 319383–319386, which seems about right.How many 319's does Northern still have
The only white unit with blue doors with Northern is 319372.A colleague of mine says "a white one with blue doors" went off lease last week from Northern but I'm unsure which. Wikipedia isn't much help! I know there's not many ghost/Thameslink ones up here mind.
According to TrainLogger with what enthusiasts know, 15.How many 319's does Northern still have
IIRC Northern did not acquire 319372 and 319373, both still in debranded Thameslink colours, until 2018, as "temporary" compensation for the delays in the 769 conversions of Northern's 319/4s. 373 was returned to Porterbrook in 2019.The only white unit with blue doors with Northern is 319372.
I don’t think 372 was disputed as still being in service.319372 is out today so the information earlier was obviously wrong
What's Irony York? Will the Northern class 319s go to Irony York storage
Porterbrook has enough spare 319s, because of which it's sometimes easier to start again - rather than pulling an existing conversion apart.I noticed in other sources that at least two cars of 799001 have roaded to Sims at Newport, but I could never understand the need for 799201 instead of converting the existing Hydroflex test bed
Yes, I saw two units that looked like 319s from the train from Crewe to Shrewsbury on Monday (30/03), presumably 319373 and 768001. Thanks for your help with that.Unless they've moved recently by road, they're not. 319373 and 768001 were at Crewe South Yard, 768002 was last heard of at Castle Donington EMDC.
My latest record has this has being at Castle Donington but that move happened in August 2021 so not sure if it has moved on sinceDoes anyone know where 319441 is please?
No proper time, but knowing the DFT and one of the diagrams on Part Time Spotter will always be a 350... not long now... just when.Any confirmed withdrawal date of the LNWR 319s?
Off lease 31/05, but that was based on first 730 next Monday…No proper time, but knowing the DFT and one of the diagrams on Part Time Spotter will always be a 350... not long now... just when.
I see, I'm getting word that they may just throw them out without the 730s even entering service yet. 730 thread proves things have gone quiet on them and this is the likely scenario.Off lease 31/05, but that was based on first 730 next Monday…
Anyone know what's happened to them recently? Haven't seen any for months.I wonder how much longer the ROG 319s will linger on in Eastleigh for? One has certainly been stripped for conversion, but seem to have spent the last year outside.
