319362 is now dead at Long Marston, having been used for an industry emergency exercise in recent weeks. The front vehicle was tipped onto itside, the second derailed on all axles and decoupled from vehicles 3 and 4. All of which have had doors forced etc by fire crews with hydraulic kit etc. It’s now been righted but would imagine it’ll be off to Newport or similar before long.
There’s another debranded Northern 319 sat waiting ready to perform the same duty for another identical exercise in a couple of weeks.

A colleague of mine says "a white one with blue doors" went off lease last week from Northern but I'm unsure which. Wikipedia isn't much help! I know there's not many ghost/Thameslink ones up here mind.

The only white unit with blue doors with Northern is 319372.

IIRC Northern did not acquire 319372 and 319373, both still in debranded Thameslink colours, until 2018, as "temporary" compensation for the delays in the 769 conversions of Northern's 319/4s. 373 was returned to Porterbrook in 2019.

Yes sorry not anyone on here I should say, it was a colleague of mine, and with Jonathans info above with regards to only being one "white with blue doors", I checked myself, its out today, so presumably all the 15 319s are still about :)

I noticed in other sources that at least two cars of 799001 have roaded to Sims at Newport, but I could never understand the need for 799201 instead of converting the existing Hydroflex test bed
Porterbrook has enough spare 319s, because of which it's sometimes easier to start again - rather than pulling an existing conversion apart.

Unless they've moved recently by road, they're not. 319373 and 768001 were at Crewe South Yard, 768002 was last heard of at Castle Donington EMDC.
Yes, I saw two units that looked like 319s from the train from Crewe to Shrewsbury on Monday (30/03), presumably 319373 and 768001. Thanks for your help with that.

The 2023 Platform5 'Combine' lists 768001 as being at Castle Donnington.

Off lease 31/05, but that was based on first 730 next Monday…
I see, I'm getting word that they may just throw them out without the 730s even entering service yet. 730 thread proves things have gone quiet on them and this is the likely scenario.

I wonder how much longer the ROG 319s will linger on in Eastleigh for? One has certainly been stripped for conversion, but seem to have spent the last year outside.
Anyone know what's happened to them recently? Haven't seen any for months.

Thought that I might just pop here saying that the LNWR 319s Won't end service as speculated on Friday by some.

730s are close to ready to enter service as I've been told. Just a few final bits. Been told several months when but it's this year and will be a slow gradual phase-out as the 730s get introduced.

From what I've heard they aren't keeping the 319s past the end of June. Has anybody heard of any potential farewell for the 319s at all?
