It’s madness because it and the other Belmont-based units were only recently withdrawn - surprised the Crewe-based units haven’t all been scrapped first before them…

Confirmed it was just 365541 with the famous 37884 passing through tutbury and Hatton 30 minutes late.
365529 still remains at crewe.

There’s nothing to suggest they won’t be scrapped in due course.

525 is being used as an ETCS demonstrator and is stored at Bicester MOD, not earmarked for scrap in the immediate future as far as I’m aware.

Yes, I'm aware of that. But when unit 525 goes, I assume the carriage of unit 526 painted in GWR green will be the only existence of the 365s for us to see.

The remaining carriages of 526 are stored at Crewe, not Ilford, and all are in NSE livery IIRC.

I though that there was only one left of 526, in NSE at Wolverton. The GWR one was scrapped and the other two were blown up by the RAF

Ok. Apparently that centre carriage has been passed on to the DfT. Don't really know its fate now.

5Q76 CONFIRMED 4 minutes early at goring and Streetly with 365508.
However will the Belmont units only go one by one.
Or will they ever go in multiples???
