Please be aware that the hospital early morning visit this morning was long in time, onerous and not very nice. I did not arrive home until late afternoon and feel totally and utterly "spent"

I will launch the next journey, then I must cook something to eat as the last food that I had was my breakfast in the early hours on this morning.

We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 1862 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Bolton Great Moor Street
It follows the line of the Bolton and Leigh Railway...using the later line alignments
It then follows the line of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway...via Kenyon Junction...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the LNWR Eccles to Wigan Line...via Monton Green
It then follows the line of the North Union Railway...via Bamfurlong
It then follows the line of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway...via Parkside (2nd station)...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Warrington and Newton Railway...via Vulcan Halt
It then follows the line of the Grand Junction Railway...via Moore
It then follows the line of the NSR Crewe to Derby Line...via Radway Green and Barthomley
It then follows the line of the GNR Derbyshire and Staffordshire Extension...via Etwall
It then follows the line of the Nottingham Suburban Railway...via Sherwood
It then follows the line of the Great Central Railway Main Line...via Nottingham Victoria
The journey ends at the closed station of Calvert

The first closed station on this journey is Bolton Great Moor Street
