I wonder if you good people could help me resolve a problem of information that I am finding to discover.
I am a UK national here in Papua New Guinea an amber listed nation, double vaccinated here in Port Moresby and I am looking to return home next month. I know that I face quarantine, but, I would like to know if it is mandatory to quarantine in a hotel, or if I can quarantine at home, alone.
Secondly, does anyone know how I convert my vaccinations (Oxford Astra-Zenica) to an NHS standard registration so when I am home in the UK I can go out and about like every other double vaccinated UK citizen. Would I have to re-vaccinate in the UK? I have the National COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card for PNG and a WHO International Certification of Vaccination (Both paper)
I have tried the UK High Commission here in Port Moresby but they direct me to the UK.gov website which is to be honest – rubbish. If anyone can direct me to a website that can clearly give me my options I’d be very grateful.
