Later this autumn I will be staying near the Tamar Valley line and rather than wandering around in the car to visit the odd branch line - was thinking of taking to the rails to do most of my travelling.
What I would like to know is are the Devon Day Ranger and Cornwall Day Ranger still available?
I seem to recall these and the individual branch line rangers for Cornwall advertised on the Devon & Cornwall Rail Partnership site - but could find no mention of them.
Only mention I could find was on National Rail enquiries for the Devon and Cornwall Ranger - and no indication if the info is up to date.
Anyone know?
Can they still be purchased from the guard as it is likely I would join the train at an unstaffed station?
Thanks
John
