That plan has changed as 156406 doesnt have enough fuel to complete the diagram on Saturday

156406 completes Barton line tonight then ECS to Lincoln then works 2T50 0518 Lincoln-Nottingham where it will stop

on sunday will run as 5N42 to Crewe CS
5F98 and 5F99 wont run

Has anyone got an up to date list of ex-EMR units now with Northern?

Also, is 408 the only one in EMR colours operating on the northern network?

Must admit, it is a sad day for me. I remember them getting introduced and what a step up on the 150 they were. They were replaced by the 153, returned (along with anything else CT could find) and replaced by the 153 again only to return (again)

They are gone now.

405 and 410 are going straight to Heaton T&R.S.M.D, so they'll join 408 in the EMR livery

That doesn't quite add up. There's 114 156s, not 116.

Northern: 66 units.
ScotRail: 42 units.
Off lease: 6 units.

417 seems to have been used a lot in this thread, but Rail Log and Wikipedia both list 917 not 417
What's the story with the /9s since I don't really know what's going on with them.

Also realised I had 407 and 907, 907 listed as scrap, but 407 listed as stored.

They were only numbered as /9s with EMR as they couldn’t couple with the native 156s. They we’re renumbered back to /4s before moving to Northern

I think they should be going to Heaton to have the correct mods fitted pending movement to Newton Heath as this happened to another unit earlier on in the thread. Although I'd happily stand corrected.

So I'm aware this is slightly off topic, but with the 156s now gone, has anyone got a list of the 158 diagrams that aren't Liverpool to Norwich for both weekdays and weekends? I'm curious to see if any 156 diagrams have been taken over by 158s rather than 170s.

No, it's still a GWR unit but the delays in works do have an effect on the Northern 156's currently going through works because it's the same workforce being used on the 150.

Edit: OK, a brief forum search shows it is indeed a SR unit, but is listed among the EM units as it was written off, returned to service, and then not so long ago stood down again.

156478 is actually owned by Brodie Engineering in Kilmarnock and was sub-leased back to Scotrail.

I think that may well be a different one. 411 has been at Newton Heath for a couple of weeks now.

I've not long put it into the main shed at NH for DSD mods (about 3am 23/05)
