Recently bought a Euro High Saver (CIV) from LNE to a provincial station from this forum's ticket office/Trainsplit, and was surprised when I picked it up from the machine (credit card format ticket) to see that it showed validity as "From [date I booked it for] until [3 2 months later].
I was under the impression that these tickets are only valid on day of connection with the Eurostar, or within 24 hours before or after, depending on whether it's an inward or outward journey. Am I reading it right that I could use this ticket to go to/from London at any time within 3 months of my Eurostar connection? And could I build in a break of journey of one or more days? I've no idea where to get this information, brfares.com doesn't help, and it's pointless asking my local ticket office since they'd never heard of CIV, never mind LNE or Euro High Savers.
TIA
