The HD02 displays might be a candidate for the lies thread though. As we waited for a platform at Shrewsbury it was attributing the delay to "this train being late from the depot", which seemed odd as it had been on time to that point.

HD03 won't now work 1W61/1V62. It's now planned to replace HD07 on the 18:55 Cardiff to Manchester to get it to Crewe for its exam rather than Canton.
HD02 had a battery fault at Holyhead. It's planned to be fixed today, rather than run a unit on w96, the plan is for HD02 to work 16:36 Holyhead to Cardiff tomorrow so that it's back on diagram to start in Cardiff Saturday morning.
Oh well, luck has finally run dry. HD07 didn't get far either. Does result in HD02 working down to Canton so that's good in place for the weekend
It's far from the only fleet failure today, there will always be the odd failure for anything. Around a month without any at all Is pretty good going really.
The Marches has fallen trees in a few locations with some services approx 200 mins late so sets will end up all over the place tonight. Nothing was due exams in service today so it doesn't desperately matter which sets end up where tonight as long as something finishes there it can be dealt with later/tomorrow.
Thanks. I'm travelling back from Leeds today changing at Manchester Piccadilly and Cardiff. Just about made the connection at 1230 Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff as train from Leeds delayed. Its very busy with all the cancellations but my luck was in so far as this one wasn't cancelled and is 5 carriage MK4 still.

Turns out to be HD06, so it's facing the other way. Think it's just crew issues, nothing wrong with the set itself
