Being as First Glasgow is still registered as two companies on paper (No 1 = Glasgow Corp/Strathclyde, and No 2 = KCB), I would have thought that the Cathcart Road garage would do their best to make sure that the branded routes on the former GCT/SB side do not appear on the former KCB side and vice versa at all.

Its not 1995 anymore so theres no real need to act as 2 different companies. Its one company, all First Glasgow; the difference on paper doesn’t really mean much in the terms of allocating buses.

Hopefully the first routes have the same 0345 departure time as the McGill's routes, as the on the hour timing was useless for those that worked.

It does seem a far cry from the Overground days when the main routes had a 24 hour continuous operation. I think before Overground if my memory serves me right, it was the 62 (present day 2) that was the very first route to have 24 hour continuous operation.

Regarding these N services, are they unidirectional or do they run back in service to Glasgow the way they came?

Also, I can remember there being an N36 that ran Glasgow - Abronhill via Royal Infirmary, A80 Cumbernauld Road, Muirhead, Gartferry Road, Westfield, maybe Condorrat, A8011 Glasgow Road, Cumbernauld TC, Kildrum Road, Cumbernauld Station forecourt (maybe to change drivers as the Glencryan Road garage is next door), and Abronhill (the largest populated neighbourhood of the New Town).

They only run in one direction now. East Kilbride still gets a night service but the N6 from Glasgow to East Kilbride has been cut.

Well they have slightly higher capacity than the 400MMC models and they're getting on a bit in age, not to mention that Glasgow is getting much newer stock than Aberdeen.

Not true. Aberdeen has recently seen delivery of 24 Yutongs and 25 hydrogen Streetdecks.

Glasgow has seen the arrival of 91 E400EVs and 107 E200EVs which averages out a much more modern fleet

There have been several weird allocations the last couple of days: older enviros on the 9/A, Geminis and e400s on the 10, 57/A, 87, 46 and 7/A to name a few. It feels like a very jumbled up allocation.

Not many left to be delivered. Unlike the E300 delivery back in 2012/2013 - they have decided to spread the E200EVs between routes rather than convert all routes to 100% electric operation.
