Is 33409 on loan to Caledonia does anyone know?
It had been on loan to Aberdeen but returned to Glasgow along with the other Enviro400MMCs overnight last night. The three loan Enviro300s were still in service with Aberdeen today. Is 33409 on loan to Caledonia does anyone know?

P/23/0393 | Installation of electric vehicle charging stations with associated work including distribution unit, transformers, feeder panels, high level cable trays and the erection of 2.4 metre high fencing | First Blantyre Depot 5 Glasgow Road Blantyre G72 0LA
Yes Blantyre was always next after scotstounJust seen that first glasgow put in an application to install electric charges at the blantyre depot.
I wonder if the E200EVs and new generation E400EVs would be able to support operations from Lanarkshire.Just seen that first glasgow put in an application to install electric charges at the blantyre depot.
They’ll have to cope.I wonder if the E200EVs and new generation E400EVs would be able to support operations from Lanarkshire.
I was wondering if they’d get Yutongs but I imagine they are trying to standardise the Glasgow fleet to ADL/BYD.They’ll have to cope.
I would expect both, as Lanarkshire has been using a lot of their double-deckers on routes such as the 255, 263, and 267 a lot more recently.I wonder if the E200EVs and new generation E400EVs would be able to support operations from Lanarkshire.
It was at there for a short time after coming back from Aberdeen loan, but it’a back at Scoutstoun now.Is 33409 on loan to Caledonia does anyone know?
I only see deckers on the 267 service with some singles. Not seen a decker on the 255 for some time.I would expect both, as Lanarkshire has been using a lot of their double-deckers on routes such as the 255, 263, and 267 a lot more recently.

I’ve seen a couple of 65 plate E400MMCs on the 255.I only see deckers on the 267 service with some singles. Not seen a decker on the 255 for some time.
Barely any double decks on these routes now, back to mostly singlesI’ve seen a couple of 65 plate E400MMCs on the 255.
I reckon if Blantyre are going electric these E400MMCs are earmarked to join their sisters in Essex anyway.Barely any double decks on these routes now, back to mostly singles
Good riddance, some of those diesels are in a poorly state, some of those I’ve sat on have very noisy clunky suspension.I reckon if Blantyre are going electric these E400MMCs are earmarked to join their sisters in Essex anyway.
They're all clunky now, state of our roads and the cheap parts don't help eitherGood riddance, some of those diesels are in a poorly state, some of those I’ve sat on have very noisy clunky suspension.
Yet many of the older Volvos still cope even better on the roads than the Dennis junkers they bought. They're all clunky now, state of our roads and the cheap parts don't help either
Better quality product than Dennis though, Heavyweight chassis can take a bit more battering, the suspension on the E400MMCs is woeful and the E200MMCs wheels are too small, feel every bump in the road.Yet many of the older Volvos still cope even better on the roads than the Dennis junkers they bought.
Drivers have compared the wheels on a 200MMC to a TX4!Better quality product than Dennis though, Heavyweight chassis can take a bit more battering, the suspension on the E400MMCs is woeful and the E200MMCs wheels are too small, feel every bump in the road.
TX4s have better turning circleDrivers have compared the wheels on a 200MMC to a TX4!
The 267 still has deckers, so you never know if you are going to get a Gemini, E400MMC, Streetlite, E300, or E200MMC when you are on that route.Barely any double decks on these routes now, back to mostly singles
Not seen a Gemini on the 267 for a long time. Rarely take the 267 now as the train is cheaper and faster.A few minutes ago today, 38432 broke down around the entry to Queen Street.
I was on the 57 (the bus being 37202) that had to go around the taxi bit on Nelson Mandela place, just as the M8 Recovery Truck came to take 38432 to the depot.

Very rarely like I said previously, It's majority single deck operated with the odd one of the above on it, A Sunday It's more likely to have more deckers on it.A few minutes ago today, 38432 broke down around the entry to Queen Street.

I would say its half and half operated by decker to single deck on a Saturday.Very rarely like I said previously, It's majority single deck operated with the odd one of the above on it, A Sunday It's more likely to have more deckers on it.
⚠️SERVICE UPDATE - 7A⚠️
⛔ Bus stuck in grass at Newton Brae, Westburn
Services diverting via Westburn Road, Grayline Avenue, Wheatsheaf Drive & Harvester Avenue in both directions
Apologies for any inconvenience!
If the driver continued up the road another 500 yards or so there's a turning circle for the bus. Possibly something happened which means he couldn't get there.Bus stuck in the grass!
I'm not familiar with the route for the 7A; any ideas as to how this might have happened?

No it was the SPT bid for electric buses under this scheme that was unsuccessful, not the whole thing being cancelled, but the article is confusing. Is there any truth in an article in The Herald newspaper online that the Scottish Government has completely stopped making money available for the purchase of electric buses? If so it appears to me that this could have implications for FirstGroup and of course other companies in Scotland who might want to purchase these types of vehicles. If true this supposed decision could have implications for ADL among other manufacturers.
New electric buses in corporate silver/purple except where local contracts require otherwise (eg Leicester/Solent)Is there any truth to the rumours that First are reverting back to a corporate livery? Glasgow are still in the midst of trying to get all their buses into the updated urban livery.
