I will take any result I can get at present but it is nice to beat one of the coined up local clubs.I can certainly think of one reason why this result against that particular team would have pleased you.

Sitting on the ferry coming home from Scotland last night, the screens were showing Sky News on a loop, resulting in me seeing that disgusting tackle by a Sheffield Utd player 4 times. hopefully he should get a long ban for that.I will take any result I can get at present but it is nice to beat one of the coined up local clubs.
Looks like they'll be going down which won't upset many people, how can a goalie as bad as that be in the Premier League?
Roy Hodgson has stepped down as Crystal Palace boss so the club can "bring forward their plans to appoint a new manager".
Hearing rumours that his predecessor Tony Mowbray, now at Birmingham City, is temporarily stepping down for health reasons.Hearing Sunderland may be looking for a new manager
EDIT - YEP on Sky sports - Beale leaves Sunderland after 9 weeks!

Steve Cooper is ‘short odds‘ with bookies as a replacement. If no appointment is made before the Swansea match then coach Mike Dodds could be in charge again! He had two wins from two games between Mowbray’s sacking and Beale‘s appointment.Hearing Sunderland may be looking for a new manager

Managerial odds are not particularly reliable if the speculation about the Huddersfield job is anything to go by. One person on twitter requesting odds for an individual can massively affect the market, and one tweet from a journalist desperate for a 'scoop' can lead to the odds plummeting for someone who was never in contention. A prime example being Sun journalist Alan Nixon who was left with egg on his face after a single enterprising Town fan, fed up with Nixon's groundless speculation, sent him on a bum steer about a coach in the Italian second tier.Steve Cooper is ‘short odds‘ with bookies as a replacement. Subbed by the worst manager ever.Ah, Wes Foderingham, the goalie who Paolo di Canio subbed after 21 minutes at Swindon and described as “the worst pro ever”
That'll please the fans, he was considered a hero by the Den faithful.Millwall have sacked head coach Joe Edwards and replaced him with Cambridge United boss and New Den legend Neil Harris.
He's not a popular chap round Cambridge right now, only been in the job six weeks! That'll please the fans, he was considered a hero by the Den faithful.
To be fair, if I had been managing Wealdstone for six weeks and Bristol City came calling (I'm allowed to dream), I'd only be going one way up the M4! It doesn't reflect well on Millwall for approaching him, though. He's not a popular chap round Cambridge right now, only been in the job six weeks!
Fair. Di Canio was an absolute mentalist.Subbed by the worst manager ever.
Even after his departure from Sunderland so long ago, I am surprised that he still only 55 years of age.Fair. Di Canio was an absolute mentalist.
Anyone seen the Partick Thistle game live on BBC Scotland, worst referee ever , 2 onside goals given offside quite clearly, boo
The guy was an out and out bully. He got away with it at the lower division club but not in the Premiership.Fair. Di Canio was an absolute mentalist.
Sadly not, one of the goals the linesman gave but the referee overruled itIt’ll be the assistant ref (linesman) at fault not the ref
There’s been a similar mistake in the Leeds v Leicester game which unfortunately means Leeds are still only 1-0 down not 2-0

Eh???Leeds United 3 Leicester City 1
Leicester turned up looking sharp and full of confidence. Leeds meanwhile looked shell-shocked against decent opposition, having had a relatively easy run of late. In truth, Leicester were the better team for large parts of the match and should have had the game won after taking the lead in the first half. It was an entertaining contest, but Leeds looked out of it. But, they weren’t. Two goals in 3 minutes sent Leicester into turmoil, and Elland Road into raptures. It was nice to seal the game in injury time, to allow thorough celebrations, the likes of which I have not seen at Elland Road for some time. That’s entertainment. And that’s the pressure on the chasing pack. It’s one of those nights where it all suddenly seems worthwhile again.
Onwards to Chelsea midweek in the cup.
It has still been an emotional rollercoaster! …and after an awful season last season.Eh???
Was winning eight on the bounce prior to tonight not quite good enough?
