Me too....I only had to do two (the dots and DFFT) and only worries about the DFFT which I did 9 on but semi confident they’re all right. Fingers still very much crossed for all those yet to hear!

I was just about to put my answer in for No10 when time expired.

I was in the same boat. I emailed the OPC regarding my previous assessment, their reply confirmed that I only had to sit the DFFT. I printed the email and took it along as proof. The only downside is the DFFT is the last test so you sit around waiting.

They have told me I need to resist the group bourdon test too. Don’t know why, as I passed to enhanced. Maybe their mistake. ‍♂️

So still some of us still waiting then, wonder how many vacancies there are hopefully a few to give us all a good chance of getting through.

I was gonna mention that, there was a guy in my session who passed the bourdon to enhanced before, but because it wasn't for Freightliner he had to do it again. Seems the enhanced standards are not the same for each company.

Hmmmm when I did stage 2 on 4th in Crewe OPC lady did say they're really busy still marking stage 1 papers, plus all the other tocs going through same process. Don't know how many staff OPC have but it doesn't seem many. She did also say they're are up in Crewe for next 6 weeks doing stage 2 testing and we were first lot on 4th. All but one were for Birmingham and other person was for crewe. I asked j my DMI when they were looking at courses to start he said they were looking at a course for Birmingham and Crewe trainees starting 4th November. So that's probably why they were testing us plus ones who have already passed the whole process waiting for start dates etc.

My stage 1 if I can remember:

GBT 10-12 lines on each.
Dials: got to q36.
Dfft: q14 (it was 14 or 15).
Gloop/ sandite one I finished.
Tea-occ: yellow directory i finished, pink directory I finished and think I got tones all right.

Hope this helps and hope you all hear next week as I'm hoping to find out about MMI and DMI next week too.
I also asked the birmingham manager where the course would take place, he said dependant on how many they accept for Birmingham and how many the accept for crewe.
So still some of us still waiting then, wonder how many vacancies there are hopefully a few to give us all a good chance of getting through.
I was at stage 2 on friday and the manager said there is still 500 left in! So id say still a great chance mate

Weird how they're telling people different things about the courses in the DMI. They told another person on my assessment day, who's for Birmingham, that courses wouldn't be until next year. Don't know what to believe.

Those of you who have done stage 2, did you also have the MMI and DMI on the same day?

Cheers. What did they ask you during the DMI?

It was a lot more relaxed than the MMI. They ask what you know about the company, a few competency questions, what your greatest achievement and biggest failures are. I’m sure all the lads that were there on Friday will say the same in that the MMI was an absolute beast but the DMI felt much more comfortable!

The interview itself was long. The questions aren’t really a shock as you’re given an answer sheet beforehand to write your competencies down. They question you on the specifics and really push for detail. Also they focus massively on how you felt during each scenario. It’s not an attempt to catch you out necessarily but you just really have to know your examples inside out. I’m fairly certain two of the other guys were asked to give different examples on the spot. There are enough example MMI questions elsewhere in this forum. Just make sure to have several examples for each competency.

I’m still curious about what I failed my dmi on back in July. Asked for feedback twice and got no response.
Best of luck to those moving forward.

To all the boy/girls who have sat the 2nd stage, did they mention how many jobs were actually available at depots or overall?

Hi all, just got my results back from the OPC after I sat my test on the am slot on the 24th of August.
I passed to the National standard, which is better than a total fail so Im happy because I havent lost a strike!
I think I know where I let myself down with regards to the Enhanced score but will request feedback.
Well done to everyone who has passed and good luck to everyone who makes it to stage 2.

I sat mine on the afternoon of the 29th and just had an email, not good news for me - passed to national standard but not enhanced so that’s me out! Not sure exactly what area I failed but I imagine it was the beep test as know I didn’t do too well on that, so maybe I’ll find out in more detail if I contact them.

Good luck to all those still waiting and those that made it through.

Same with me so we haven’t lost a life so to speak? If we pass to national standard

Absolutely. Im happy, I look at it like progress as its cost me nothing in terms of strikes and I get a better awareness of what needs to be done in future to pass.

The thing with my tests is that I know I could've quite easily have done better on the dials. I completed 17 out of the 43.
You might be wondering why so few, I wish I could give an explanation but to be honest I just tried too hard to be acccurate. Something just didn't kick in
at the time, whereas with the GBT I went like a bullet train I almost expected to be caught out or something with the dials. Odd really because I practiced them
before and found it so easy, I guess I should've practiced more.

Yeh I guess it definitely could of been worse, disappointed like yourself a little as know where I went wrong and know I could of done a lot better, I really like tests like that so should of excelled really, it’s the interviews where it usually goes tits up for me! Guess it’s back to the drawing board then!

Same here, I sat the assessment centre on 24th August in the morning and I received my email this morning. I passed to national standard but not to Freightliner standard. I'm happy I've passed to national standard it's definitely something but gutted I can't progress with Freightliner. I'll stick at it hopefully get there one day ✌

Good to hear that those waiting are finally getting their results.....a national pass is a pass nonetheless! Well done.

Can I ask where some of you got up to on the GBT, Dials & DFFT?

(Trying to figure out where my result might fall)
