Don’t suppose anyone has an email address for the OPC? Just in case I don’t hear anything at all?

So is this next stage the pencils and paper test im assuming?
A mix of that and computer based tests I believe (the reaction test whatever it’s called, and observation will be computerised if memory serves).

Does seem strange, but who knows? How quickly did you finish it? There were a few scenarios that could have gone either way in the SJT, but on the whole I would have expected the same as you in it being the other way around.

I tried not to focus too much on the time but must have been somewhere around 40-45minutes(?) but quite possibly less as it didn't seem to take long.
Wondering now if I rushed it a little.

Congratulations to everyone who ill be seeing in crewe, I was ecstatic to discover I met the standard required today.
Good luck to anyone not lucky enough on this occasion, it could've been by a whisker that you missed it so don't give up.

I did it in 50 ish minutes and thought the same as they allowed 70. I’d imagine there are hundreds of people to get through hence why they said to allow 25 days to hear.

That’s the standard ish time it takes, although most companies I believe say to allow a day? There’s not usually an interview on the same day, and the email doesn’t say to expect one, but the MMI is part of the assessment process so who knows?

I had an email to say I’d passed the VSE and SJE today. I’ve been invited to the next tests however I’ve completed the psychometrics in March 2017. Do we need to do them again?

It says

If you have sat the assessment process previously with another train organisation, we will be aware of this and advise on the day of what assessment tools you will need to complete.

I know, but you’re saying you’ve passed them all in March? No point attending if that is the case for them to say you don’t need to do them. It won’t hurt to send an email and find out prior to the day? It’s the only way to get a definitive answer.

That’s what confused me as to why I’d need to attend to tell them that. Have sent an email will let you know what they say.

Maybe it’s if you’ve passed some but not all? Or, if it’s an enhanced set of tests it might be that your current pass marks weren’t high enough for Freightliner? Why they’d need you to attend to assert sin this I don’t know. But yes, please let us know!

Don't know if this helps but I had the same with Virgin and this process. Apparently even though I passed the Group Bourdon test to enhanced standard with Chiltern, it wasn't good enough for Virgin as they required a higher standard for that test. I chose not to go as if I'd failed it was a life lost I believe? Even though I'd already passed before. Or am I wrong?

Woohoo finally got an email, I'm though too!
I'm thinking of staying overnight the night before to avoid a panicked rush on the morning itself...
Many years I have been applying for these roles and this is the first time I have ever got to an assessment centre so even if I get no further I'm pretty happy :)

Congrats! I’m the same....got to this stage before once and passed, but failed the MMI and stupidly left it too late and have to resist them all again so this is my last go. I won’t stay overnight but I’ll be allowing plenty of time to get there as it’s a good 3hr journey. Good job it’s in the afternoon. I’m chuffed to have got this far as at the moment. Long story but I’ve not managed to get my application past the screening phase with my current TOC (which they’ve put down to the only 10 SJT questions on the form). We will see what happens.

Oh right, just assumed they were all afternoon. Maybe it’s because of the distance? Must have all day sessions. I’m happy it’s afternoon for me. Where roughly are you in the country?
