Maybe that will be the next repaint?

How many 69s will there be? With no two the same colours, this looks like an ideal class for the model manufacturers to grab with both hands.
There are 10 planned with another 6 options. I expect a few more will be in "default" GBRf livery like 69001 and 003.

Bachmann have already come to an agreement with GBRF to do the class in both OO nad N gauge. Not seen any expected timescale though.

I am hoping there will be a two tone green 69, pretty much like 50044 was when it was D444 in green. I think it will lay perfectly on the 69. Wouldn't be surprised to see Mainline and loadhaul versions either and an NSE liveried one. So that is 69006-69009 taken care of !!!

I might be alone in my view but I think it looks awful!! Very garish and the white and grey will be a pain to keep clean.

Looking at it more from a corporate point of view, while the mix of liveries are great for Enthuisasts/Bachmann, it presents quite a bizarre company brand to both staff and customers. If you want one off liveries then tie ups with customers or support for charities is a much better option than this hotch potch of pseudo BR corporate liveries, especially ironic as GBRF was one of the few railfreight providers not to have been a former BR business unit...

Be nice to have one in Dutch. grey/yellow
It would be, but the problem GB may face is who owns the rights to various previous liveries, eg; DB may still hold the rights to Mainline / TransRail / Loadhaul and possibly some of the earlier BR liveries to boot.

As for this one, I'm still rather mixed about it. I think I'd have preferred it to have been the 47 style two tone green, or as it's converted from previously BR Blue 56007 (under it's short lived preservation), then returning it back to BR Blue might have been a nice nod to it. But the main thing is... is the quality of the welding better or worse than previous conversions?

Absolutely right. You'll find that DB own many of the rights!

The ownership and rights of past and previous liveries is certainly something of a minefield! DB of course still own a fair few, First Group has it's share, Stagecoach / Virgin, The DfT etc...

I wonder who owns the rights to the triple grey though? GB Has at least managed to clear that hurdle with two 66s in the Sector era style (designed by Roundel), so a 69 in Railfreight shouldn't be too difficult to hopefully achieve. Perhaps with some nice Coal Sector markings too? :D:lol:

But 37240’s been repainted into Transrail triple grey with a big T logo and that’s on hire to Colas, DB don’t appear to have said anything about that.

0z69 and 0Z70 to Brighton Thursday from eastleigh. Not sure what's at Eastleigh yard. Preferably 001 or 003 for my sighting requirements

GBRf must obviously like them then. Hopefully they will appear in areas other than the South East.

Like Kestrals livery I mentioned up thread. (In case the MD is viewing :D)
and in that vein, something inspired by the German/French/Belgian liveries the class 90s had in the 1990s would suit me fine (obviously, an exact-as-possible match may not be possible). That said, part of the fun of these locos is in the surprise every time the next one is released from conversion, so almost anything is acceptable!
