Gizzy's Birthday Bash 2009

As some of you will know, I had an 18th birthday bash last Saturday.
It was a great day out, and I'm thinking that I should have one every year. Just so that we can all meet up, have a good time, etc.

It'll be first class again I would imagine.

Where do you think we should do it this time? (Remembering that HSTs aren't doing Sheffield's anymore)

just worked out for the 12 hour jobbie, if I paid on the day it'd cost me total about £210

If it's going to be the same sort of thing as this year then I'd go for the ECML. You could go up to Aberdeen/Inverness on an HST, but as it'd be dark for most of the trip I'd be fairly pointless

I went to Penzance once and caught something called the 'up midnight', there was a few sleeper coaches and a a few seated coaches and a bent duff on the front, it left at 2200 and headed to a place called London! The coaches were all ex HST First Class seats and it was more comfortable than spending the night on Penzance station

I wouldnt mind doing the overnighter thing but it would be pointless running from berth to berth(if we get them) and the fact everybody will be asleep!
