Don't know whether it's good or bad, but my applications 'on hold' due to volume of responses.

Since the last HEx recruitment drive a number of changes in the business mean that the frontline staff has expanded to include two other grades of staff. I think this is the first opportunity people in these two other grades have had to go and apply for the main CSR position.
That is a possible reason why you're on hold, whilst they try and see who is suitable from those within the company first. I know it sucks for now, but there will be a few hurdles even for the internal applicants to clear so there's every chance there will be only a few internals who are successful. Whether or not you would be offered a position in the other two grades (Mobile Sales Assistants (working in Terminal arrivals halls) or Customer Service Assistant (Working on Connect or at T5 LUL station), I can't say as this is uncharted territory at the moment.
The situation usually changes after about 6 months with staff moving up the grades or natural wastage, so I estimate you'd be contacted sometime before Easter next year.
