They were knackered heaps of life expired junk when they were withdrawn from service, probably far worse now.
When was this. Because some of them the ones I am thinking of did a charter last year 2022 to Buxton. Plus September 2021 Barrow Hill rail ale.
Plus used as barrier vehicles on some 769 and Ely to Newport scrap moves.
Ie ex Anglia and Tfw mk3. Was they withdrawn around the end of 2021 then?

Can’t find any mention on here, according to the latest Today’s Railways UK, 12090 and 12137 have been preserved at the Churnet Valley Railway having previously been stored at Long Marston.

I don’t think it’s 10404 as that arrived on Wednesday from the Barry tourist railway, along with 11066 and 11082 - all 3 now purchased by LSL from Cambrian Transport.

11072 still lives at Barry for now, unsure if this has been purchased as well. All still carry weathered ex Greater Anglia livery.

Been told that a couple of Mk3's at Crewe have been painted in original scotrail livery as per 47/7's.

Does anyone know which one's. I presume these are for the Heritage centre to go with the DBSO they have and eventually 47712.

Any info appreciated

Been confirmed on WNXX (duly acknowledged) that 10404 and another arrived at Crewe on Tuesday 15th June.

Good afternoon from Nottingham from a mad dash across from Leicester.
5E48 1052 Castle Donnington to Great yarmouth c.s.d was diverted via Nottingham and Grantham due to a points failure at Melton Mowbray .
However 37608 with two Mk2 coaches for support due to a ex non brake Tfw mk3 buffet coach. So in formation was 37608 two Mk2 coaches and x 5 ex TFW mk3 coaches 3rd Std class and two Buffet mk3 coaches .
Lovely sight at Nottingham.
37 on front. Also stopped to change driver then superb thrash and throttle on departure And coaches especially the mk2 and mk3 together. With Mk2 on front bringing back found memories of late 80s early 90s. Ie around 30 to 33 years ago on those Norwich to Birmingham holiday maker specials.
Pity those good times have well done
However brings back many happy childhood memories of when a very young teenager and always bunking of school and playing truant to ride and video them.

https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:55945/2022-07-11/detailed

The outbound 5E48 path should be a runner this time.

Path in for todays 5E48 10:52 Castle Donnington to Yarmouth Vauxhall Sidings consisting of 5x former ROG Mk3s and 2x former DRS Mk2s
https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:K04136/2022-07-11/detailed
To go with my post below does anyone have the mk2.coach numbers. Please.
Do have 12176 12180 10259 12182 10249.
But not the mk2s. Any information for the mk2s identification much appreciated thanking you kindly.

The Mk2s are 5919 and 6046, numbers were in the windows. All 7 vehicles are now owned by Eastern Rail Services.

Unlikely. 10259 already confirmed for scrap. It was running unbraked and missing a large number of considerable components from its undercarriage.
I believe it had the extra mk2 for support hence being on front. However will the ex tfw Mk3 at Great Yarmouth most likely get broke up on site for other component recovery. Then go by road locally for scrap?

Good Afternoon from. A very reliable source has sent me a email of and confirmed to me that Today Tuesday 06th September 2022.
From Beeston station that early on today mid morning.
37901 took 10406 11092 11093 11101 12125 12154 11099 from Castle Donington to Gasgoine Wood.
On the 1016 532C Castle Donington to Gasgoine Wood for Storage.
Please does anyone know why.
Have Rail Operations Group or who owns them. IE have finished with them or are they now being stored at Gasgoine Wood. Could they possibly be moved away by road from there for scrap.
Any further information is kindly appreciated.

S Yorks, usually
On the Traksy maps, that working disappeared at Canklow northbound, and reappeared 10-15 mins later in the southbound Canklow Loop, about midday. Still showing as being there now (16:00). Presumably the disappearance was into the Masboro freight terminal to reverse into the southbound loop.
Annoying if you were a mile or so north of that point waiting for it!

37901 has failed. As traksy was showing 1Z99 to rescue.
However don't know myself what rescue engine was.
Or what will happen to the ex Anglia possibilities of more ex Rail Operations Group mk3 now at Gasgoine Wood.
Could Booths Rotherham be its next fate?

Scrap - either Kingsbury or Rotherham.
