91127 is currently in Doncaster Works could it be that one instead?
Sure I heard 124 quoted…..could be 127
But then again, a loco can be vinyled in a day or 2.

Was the conclusion that it’s just a one-off for a single set?
All sets.

My bed, just checked, and yes, 91127 will be first loco done.

91124 is currently at Hitchin on 1A50! I assume it will be all for Mk4 sets. There was a post on Facebook that suggests they will be branded "LNER 225" trains.
I’m glad they’re getting their own identity but I feel an opportunity for naming them Electra has been missed?

In my head it's just the class 91s themselves that were branded "Electra" - but the name never really caught on.

Four coaches were apparently moved last week to the down yard at Worksop for roading out: numbers reported elsewhere as 11409, 11414, 12453, and one other not yet identified.

Two of them left on Tuesday for Booths, Rotherham.

At least 11409 left today. Not sure if the fourth coach went today as well - if not then pretty sure it's 11409 you'll have seen.
Many thanks Fuzzytop. So these three are now at Booths in Rotherham awaiting dismantling. Any idea on the identity of the fourth coach pleae? Cheers

Has anyone managed to find out the ID of the fourth coach sent to scrap at Worksop during the last week in April? I'm pretty sure 11409, 11414 and 12453 have gone to Booths, but there was a fourth reported, and indeed perhaps there have been further coaches roaded out since?

Still at Worksop I have listed:
ex-BN01: 10307
ex-BN05: 12209
ex-BN09: 12308 11309
ex-BN14: 12229 12410 12526 12423 10332
ex-BN16: 11316
and DVTs 82204 82206 82210 82218

Starting to really get down to the last remnants now - it'll be interesting to see if they find any more novel uses for any of the remaining coaches or if they will all soon meet their fate.

I believe it’s five that went: 11409, 11414, 12209, 12423 and 12453.

Seven of those have been sold on.

91110 went light-loco to Doncaster this morning as 0Z10, reportedly for a fresh coat of paint.

It also appears that LNER are now labelling services operated by 91/Mk4s as 'LNER InterCity 225' on station PIS screens.

From today, certain signage in stations will also display when a service is due to be operated by a 225 It's amazing to see the InterCity 225 name back in business - thank you to all @ LNER who made this possible!

I don't fully understand why LNER would use the 225 monicker when they won't be doing 225km/h in service. It's not false advertising, just an odd decision.

Obviously just a homage/reference to what they were originally called and what most people in the know still refer to them as. I've called them 225's since I first saw one in 1988 despite knowing they never achieved that speed in service.

Always thought it a bit of an odd decision by BR to name them that in the first place actually, since we/they don't even use that unit of speed and as it was obviously meant to be a continuation of the 125 moniker which was a reference to MPH just to make it even more confusing to a 7 year old me at the time!

When 110mph running was introduced in the mid-1980s on the West Coast with Class 87s/Mark 3s there was a shortlived attempt to brand those services as InterCity 175!

The proposed Class 93s and Mark 5s for the West Coast in the 1990s were also going to be branded InterCity 250 due to the anticipated 155 mph maximum speed.

It was always intended to appear as a progression from 125. The fact that 225 km/h is 139 and a bit mph is the lucky co-incidence that enabled it.
