Out of curiosity how many B5TL Enviro400MMC's have been delivered?

And

Is there any fleet list that these are included in (I have looked and cannot find anything)?
Thanks :).
Latest fleetlist was posted on the Lothian site from 13th May. It’s under the Documents section.

I'm surprised Lothian are so openly publishing a fleet list among other things such as the MDs expenses... I thought it would be a supposed violation of some obscure GDPR law.

I did hear a whisper (canteen talk) that one was to be used as an ADL Demonstrator in some capacity - could this be 601 hence why it's missing? (even on internal notices about certain aspects of the new buses at LS it refers to 602-617). As I said, just a whisper i'd heard I don't know if there's truth to it.

Being publicly owned they are subject to Freedom of Information requests. Proactively publishing information will reduce the number of requests and could save them staff time.

Volvo B9TL/Wright 892 (SN08BXE) is off to pastures new. Spotted on A1 eastbound between Tranent and Haddington at around 1400 today on trade plates, minus fleetnames.

This may well be the last photo of them in fleet livery, seems like they moved to Seafield the same day. Shame to see them go as I really enjoyed driving them°

Perhaps it will go on demo to a few operators and then join the Lothian fleet at a later date? I can see the likes of Transdev having some interest.

Someone tweeted Lothian Buses on twitter about there being a Lothian Bus down in Hull, that could be 601 possibly?

Can imagine so, might tempt operators that don't want MCV bodies (which don't really seem that popular apart from the B8RLE, and that's not sold particularly well).

Sorry to change the subject; what is the furthest passengers can go on routes 19 and 42? The website shows there being a stop "Marine Garage Roundabout", but looking on Google Street View it appears that stop is within the Garage boundary and so I wouldn't think it would be open to passengers. It wouldn't really fit the destination description of "King's Road" either, but if they ran to the King's Road stop at the north of Portobello High Street then I can't see anywhere nearby for the buses to turn.
Thanks.

the 42 and 19 terminate in the depot.

Passengers are allowed to alight and board here. I have heard of some drivers refusing, but it is indeed allowed.

Where the traffic lights are at the junction of Sir Harry Lauder Road, Kings Road and Portobello Road used to be a roundabout. I believe buses used to terminate here, before my time unfortunaely.

When the roundabout was removed, all journeys terminated in the depot and that is still the case. The stop within the depot is shown on Google maps.

The odd occasion I've been at Marine for one reason or another I've seen passengers alighting at the changeover point at the garage. Might be the exception to the rule though?

Thanks both.
I'm drawing a map and wanted to make sure I had it right!

Don't think it's been posted but the company is finally recruiting again - PCV holders and trainees for LCB and ECB.

From what I've heard it's only those two companies (for now?) to allow those waiting to transfer from them to Lothian to fill any upcoming vacancies.

Good to see that they are finally hiring!

Slightly off topic, but I notice the bottom bar containing the "Lothian Family" seems to be an outdated one

Presumably if more new buses are on the way to Longstone then the B9's back on the 44 is only temporary.

I have noticed at least two comments on twitter regarding the 44 not showing on the app (for reasons we know to do with the new buses) so wonder if this is to mix it up a bit.
