To explain properly now I have the time, the reason I mentioned 507 withdrawal being paused is because I've been told that no more 507 diagrams can go over to 777s until they restart withdrawing 507s, with the inn currently being full and requiring 777s to be stored at Long Marston. Based on that, it's realistically going to be at least late April before the next reduction in 507 diagrams for either New Brighton or Southport, possibly later. Time will tell and if I hear anything concrete in the meantime, I will share it here.

507011 was swapped out for the wheel lathe however it wasn't attended to and was sent to Southport to be put out of the way and it arrived about 2000. 507018+507023 507003+507033 were at Birkenhead North (then 1500 the latter appeared at New Brighton where 507031 was also stabled. 507021/28/29 were on the New Brighton services and 507010 was on the Ellesmere Ports. The Southport's 507002+011 507030+016 507020+014 arriving around 1000. 1012 was 507016+030 (quick turnaround) and 1042 was 507017+507001. 507007 appeared at Liverpool Central ECS 1200ish and went to Southport. 1742 was 507002+007 1757 507017+001 1812 507016+030.

Just to add to that regarding the 1012 ex Southport (507016+030) - 2U19. As you say, it was required to perform a quick turnaround at Southport, and thus departed 4 minutes late. It also lost time on the journey both with a lengthy call at Waterloo and subsequently being held outside Sandhills for Headbolt Lane services to pass each way. Consquently ten late at Liverpool Central (using platform 2, as platform 1 was occupied by the next Headbolt Lane service that should have been behind 2U19 from Sandhills) - it then ran non-stop to Hunts Cross, much to the annoyance of a 'walking party' who were intending to alight at Cressington, and who failed to hear the on-board announcement of the revised stopping pattern (or should I say non-stopping pattern!).

507010 is on the Ormskirk line this morning, forming the 10.31 from Liverpool Central.

Great to see this. However, not quite a tonic for losing 002, especially having been led to believe it was staying until April!

507030 is still out if anyone wants it, tailing 507016 now on the 1042 Southport - Hunts Cross. This will be its last day going by reports elsewhere, although please don't quote me on it.

507020+507007 are sat in the siding next to P1 at Southport (1210) think 507011 is the one on its own in the sidings outside. 507033+003 were the 1012 off Southport - I viewed 507010 at Sandhills (1148) arriving from Ormskirk. Gutted that 002 is to finish. They must be short on the Ormskirks as 777140 was working them.

Anybody know what time 507010 finishes on the Ormskirks.

Just had my last ride on 507030 and it looks certain to be its last passenger service, the 16.51 Hunts Cross - Southport. It has just been split from partner 507016 and should work 5T68 to Kirkdale shortly.

I didn't rate 030 as highly as 002 but it was still a fine unit and earned the nickname 'the Toaster' for its excellent heating.

507 030 was on the front of the 16.50 HX-SOP arriving 17.57. There is a 5T68 Southport to Kirkdale leaving at 18.15.

I have a nasty feeling I've just seen 030s last revenue earning run :(

Sorry mate I've just posted a similar thing! Yes I was on 030 today and it was in good spirits. Shame to see it go

I was on the Wirral at 1300 today.
028 and 029 were on the New Brighton service.
017 was outside Birkenhead North EMU Depot.
014 and 031 were stabled at New Brighton whilst 777036 was in the platform to work the 1523 service.

Agreed I had 507002+507007 on the 2012 Southport-Hunts Cross last night.
