Name's Law requires that all travels to [something] House requires a trip to the terminal (which the advent version loves) towards that area.

Charing Cross.

Unfortunately, that also happens to be an invalid move under section 87 of the Advent Rules (Smith-Johnson) 1974, which state that any move to a station with the word Cross in its name is ruled invalid between the First Sunday of Advent and Epiphany. Might Victoria be a better move?

I’ve checked both the 1951,1972 and the 1988 rule books and Wisdens Almanac and there is nothing that prohibits me from using the Botham number 6 move and going straight to the Oval.

When the title of the variant in play is in Latin for half of the words, we must travel towards the nearest depot if we arrive at a shape.

Ergo, Morden.

Under section 73C of the 1981 Scratchett regulations (used in conjunction with the Santa Clause in section 84 of chapter 8 of the Mone Rulebook 1939), moves to South London must immediately be followed by a trip to Acton Town for the Christmas pantomime.

I see what you did there - a cunning anagram! "Ogre or Vans?" I believe the answer may lie in East Ham.

As Cheddington has been played, the next move must be one of the Seasonal Variations (Elgar's Law, 1969, amended 1971, 1972, 1978, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1986, 1989, 1991, 1994, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2020). The one I shall choose to play is Peartree.

Continuing the Christmas theme, after eating the partridge in the Peartree, the next move must surely be to Pudding Mill Lane.

Ooooh - late to this game. As we're in the dark tunnels, the obvious move is to the famously unlit Theydon Bois.

Whilst on the way to work this morning, saw a picture in my newspaper of a now rare jumbo jet flying over Windsor.

Inspired me to alight at Elephant and Castle.

Sneaky! Very sneaky!
Having studied the rulebook intently (being very new to MC - and therefore very keen), I think there is one possible way out of this cunning trap you have set. I shall play the triple hexadecimal orthogonal leap and place your king in check at Epping.

Kingsbury - BOOM. Take that as a boshing. A Van der Merwe move. Don't start. It is allowed. Not my fault you aren't at my level.

I take my hat off, sir - you are truly a master of the darkest arts of the game. I shall now retreat into my dank corner to read the next eight rulebooks on my list, but before I do so I shall tentatively offer Woolwich.

Dibnah was regarded as a heretic by the advent rules, on account of the name, therefore you must travel instead to Finsbury Park.

An attemped use of Dibnah when in Advent results in the movement of Nidd to Chester.

Hmm, it didn't say that in the last rulebook I read - which version are you using? It appears I am in Nidd again, though I'm slightly confused as to whether I'm meant to be in Chester or not...
