Hello all,

I have received a call today from NR HR and have been provisionally offered a role as an Off Track Operative. Can anybody tell me what the offer pack details and what the next stages are please? I'm presuming a medical plus references but is there anything else?

Thanks :D

Congratulations !

The offer pack is an email with a load of attachments including the formal offer, pay scale etc, pension form, bank details, next of kin and personal information.

You'll also have to provide references and then a medical date will be arranged.

Hi guys, I was wondering if you or anybody can help me? I have applied for a job as an off track operative and have got to interview stage which I had this time last week, it seemed to go ok. I haven't heard back from NR as yet but my application status online for this IRC number has gone from ASSESSMENT 2 COMPLETED to saying APPLICATION REASSIGNED TO NEW APPLICATION. I phoned the helpline and she said it's because they must have two vacancies available instead of the original one? I know that there were only 3 of us that got through to interview stage so was wondering if anybody could help me understand this or if anybody has experienced this before?
Thanks Ade

Off Track Operative. What's that in English?

Off track deal with vegetation, fencing/access point gates, drainage, and I believe also some aspects of level crossings. Things that are around the railway, but aren't the track/signalling/power etc.
