Robert Nutter was a preist at Reedley, and was executed as a Catholic Martyr - but not until after he'd escaped from imprisonment in Wisbech Castle.

Chessington (Royal Borough of Kingston-on-Thames) is also the location of an entertainment complex which features, among other things, watery fun.

Nuneaton also has associations with a figure of note in the field of cryptozoology. Tim Dinsdale, who did much work attempting to prove the existence of the Loch Ness Monster, lived for many years in Tilehurst; Richard Freeman -- author and journalist who has extensively covered reputed creatures unrecognised by science, in general: was born in Nuneaton.

Wormbridge is the home of NFU Mutual; I have a friend who used to work for them, but he lives in Brecon.

The electoral ward of Llanelwedd includes the communities of Llanelwedd, Aberedw (where there's a fine pub called the Seven Stars!) and Glascwm.

Disserth in Powys also has a church that is dedicated to St Cewydd.

Desperation setting in, as it occasionally does in this game: Disserth lies on the River Ithon. In Aberdeenshire is the River Ythan (three letters out of five are the same, in the same positions -- and the names probably sound quite similar when spoken ;) ) -- most likely, not linguistically related; Welsh, and Scottish Gaelic, being of different branches of the Celtic languages family. On the river Ythan lies the town of Ellon .

Fraserburgh FC play in the Highland League; one of the current opponents are the splendidly named Inverurie Loco Works FC who play at Harlaw Park which, unsurprisingly, is in Inverurie.

Also the location (Inverurie's, the Battle of Harlaw -- hence, presumably, the eponymous Park) of an extremely bloody 15th-century battle with a huge death-toll; is Towton, about a dozen miles south-west of York.

Waterfoot also lies on the line of the River Irwell.

Waterfoot's neighbouring village -- of greater importance long ago, but has been eclipsed by "the W-place" -- is Newchurch-in-Rossendale. There is another Newchurch in the Isle of Wight.

Newchurch lies on the river Yar. The Isle of Wight has two rivers called Yar, the other nearly bisecting the western end of the Island as it emerges just 140 meters from the south coast in Freshwater.

There were two poets -- contemporaries, in a decidedly broad sense -- who both dwelt for a long while, in places far from their respective "native heaths". Tennyson lived at Freshwater; A.E. Housman, in Cambridge.

I see that Caithness is actually the name of the County area and not a specific settlement; in addition, the science festival is held in various parts of the county, principally around Wick, Thurso and rural Caithness. Do you want to revise your suggestion, please?
