My mistake: I gave the non-Sussex Litlington (with "t") -- three miles west of Royston -- as in Bedfordshire; it is indeed, as per your post, in Cambridgeshire. Apologies.My researches over the last hour are in some depth and whilst I have traced a Litlington in Cambridgeshire and a Lidlington in Bedfordshire, I still cannot trace a Litlington in Bedfordshire.
I shall keep trying more sources to see if they can assist my researches,
