Another update, for today, from the Eastleigh Works fence. 313204 and 313207 have now had their numbers flame cut away.

some of it is already going to be sold off by Arlington themselves along with some 317 flamecuts. All goes up this evening.

Yes it's good news on the face of it but where/how will it run? Spot hire? Will it be "exercised" on the juice to keep things ticking over? Or will it just become another "depot pet" and be allowed to rot away?

I went past Eastleigh yesterday.

It appears that 313220 is part way through the disposal, to be followed by 313207 and 313204. From its position, 313209 may follow from them.
