We’re running a special ticket promotion in honour of Railway 200 – a year-long celebration marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of the railway.
Customers can pay just £5 and grab an Advance ticket for travel on selected Southeastern routes on 5 April and 6 April 2025.*
10,000 Southeastern Network Weekend tickets will be on sale from 22 March 00:01 to 28 March 23:59 2025, so don’t miss out!
Ditch the car and travel by train to one of the many great destinations and attractions across the Southeastern network. Step into history at Canterbury Cathedral, go on an underground adventure at The Margate Caves, or travel to London and explore all that the capital has to offer, from world-class galleries and museums to delicious street food markets!
If you are lucky enough to have won a day out at the Kent Big Weekend, taking place on 5 April and 6 April, why not take advantage of our train ticket promotion and save on travel!
Southeastern Network Weekend tickets are ONLY available to purchase from the Southeastern app or website – no booking fees apply.
There are some planned engineering works on 5 April and 6 April. Please visit our planned engineering work page to check how this might affect your journey.
*Tickets are available on selected routes only and are limited and subject to availability and exclusions. Railcard discounts do not apply. If you require assistance or have specific accessibility requirements when buying your ticket, contact our Customer Services or visit a Southeastern ticket office.
Don't forget if you're making a return journey, you’ll need to buy a ticket for each direction. Advance tickets are only available as single tickets on specific trains and on selected routes, but you can mix and match tickets and times to suit you.
I doubt itRe SWR Secret Fares - has anyone run in to a limit on how many bookings you can make in a day / week?
So it's tracking your IP addressWell I've make four bookings this week for various dates between now and June, and now my payment is always declined, even if I use a different email address or different card.
That's odd, I'd say its more likely that the website developed an issue or detected too many payments in a short space of time, than you hitting a limit they set. There's nothing in the T&Cs, and I can't see any reason for them setting a limit. Not all from the same ip or same device

I'm thinking of getting a couple of Interrails in this sale. Is there likely to be a better sale within the next 12 months or so? I've never really looked at the sales before. The source is an i paper email; I haven't seen any website information yet.
Within 12 months, yes - Black Friday in late November is, historically, their biggest sale with 20 or 25% off passes. But probably (though I don't have a crystal ball, Interrail have stated it'll be the last sale before the peak summer season) nothing before then.I'm thinking of getting a couple of Interrails in this sale. Unfortunate I know but everything seems to have gone up in life. £7 £14 £21 & £28 return fares still seem excellent value.Though the attractiveness of the fares seems to diminish with each round - those £20 day returns from Liverpool Street to Norwich and beyond are a thing of the past
They are good value for an off peak return from Cambridge to Liverpool Street (£14), but definitely not from Ely to Liverpool Street (£28), when you could split it with a Hare Fare from Cambridge and an off peak Ely-Cambridge return for £3.70 with Greater Anglia or £6 on any train.Unfortunate I know but everything seems to have gone up in life. £7 £14 £21 & £28 return fares still seem excellent value.
I can see super off peak tickets on both a Saturday and Sunday, from Liverpool St to Cambridge, for £12.55 return (Railcard price). They are good value for an off peak return from Cambridge to Liverpool Street (£14), but definitely not from Ely to Liverpool Street (£28), when you could split it with a Hare Fare from Cambridge and an off peak Ely-Cambridge return for £3.70 with Greater Anglia or £6 on any train.
