The mighty Haslemere!! (Woolston box is of a near identical design but has been ground frame only for thirty odd years)
Also Dorchester South and Guildford at a pinch, Wokingham; Farncombe & Petersfield are just over the road from their respective stations
And of course everyone's favourite, Severn Bridge Junction!

Hastings retains an operational signal box, built in the standard SR design of the '30s, immediately adjacent to the platforms. The semaphore signals at the Ore end provide a unique ambiance.

Lime Street - Can see it from the ends of the platforms, by the station throat.
Sandhills - Bit of a cheat this one, but it's a nondescript grey warehouse on an industrial park next to the station.

As soon as I saw this thread title, I thought of Garsdale.

Craven Arms? Hellifield?

Craven Arms Box is at the level crossing, and not on the station.
Machynlleth Box was at the end of the platform, until it closed.
Caersws Box is still there, but out of use.

I wouldn't describe Penzance's 'box as on the station. To gain access you have to walk down the platform ramp and along a little. Have the signalmen there had to go through the waste of a PTS course I wonder? Truro's box is on the other side of a road.

Oxford Panel is (was?) adjacent to the station, next to Platform 4 (Platform 2 before the very recent renumbering)

TVSC at Didcot is really stretching the "directly adjacent to" as mentioned by the OP

Barrhill. Box at platform end and token instruments in station building. Is that the last survivor of this practice?

Barrhill is quite a period piece all told, thanks for posting. Girvan box also appears to be on the platform from what I can see. As an aside, I didn't realise that Girvan has such a perfectly preserved LMS pattern station building, both box and station visible in this photo.

For preserved ones there's this little gem at Medstead on the Mid Hants.
There's disused boxes on the platforms at Topsham, Dawlish and I think Exeter Central too.

Disused Dawlish was finally removed in 2013. The structure by then had become heavily degraded and had been partly supported by external steelwork. Out of use Torre survives, boarded up on the up platform. There was a planning application approved this year for its conversion to holiday hostel accommodation aimed at rail enthusiasts. Torquay also survives on the down platform at the Paignton end, having been rented out as private office space since abolition. The current Paignton signalbox is very much part of the station, being a panel in the back of the booking office! That was planned originally so the signalling and commercial roles could be combined, but it never happened and the panel area is completely partitioned off today.

Feltham PSB is on the up side at the London end of the station, the other side of the Hounslow Road (A244) overbridge. Although close, it's not really 'part' of the station complex I'd say.

Truro Box is beyond the level crossing
St Erth is well beyond the station and the St Ives junction.

Don't think the following as been mentioned:
Chelmsford. Not in use I believe. It's on top of the roof form memory.

Seamer, whilst not on the platform, is opposite the barrow crossing so is very much adjacent

Disused-wise, Scarborough Falsgrave still stands at the end of Scarborough P1

Bare Lane - but I don't think it does much signalling nowadays. As far as I know it just controls the level crossing

Flattened some time ago now (well over 12 months since) with the crossing controlled from Lancaster I think

Has anyone mentioned Gobowen yet? Or Hest Bank (the latter is closed but still in situ).

Ancaster, Rauceby, Sleaford, Thorpe Culvert, Tutbury and Hatton, Nottingham station boxes are still there but used as a mess room and offices.
