HD05+67013 are planned out on a test run this afternoon Crewe to Shrewsbury and back

With todays swaps/cancellations, unusually all sets will finish the day in the same place they started.

HD01 had issues at Canton and HD02 at Crewe (spare set 05 was sent out instead) as HD01 went to Crewe, HD03 will stay at Canton after 1V46 this evening with 1W65 running as a unit.

67016 is now planned to come off HD07 and be replaced by 67010 prior to working tonight's Holyhead.

Tomorrow should see 5 diagrams plus a spare with Crewe sets 67008+HD01 (spare rake), 67014+HD02 (1V31 start), 67017+HD06 (1V33 start), Cardiff starts planned as 67025+HD03 (1W13 start), 67013+HD05 (1W11 start) whilst 67010+HD07 will start from Holyhead

67022+HD04 is now on a B exam so will be out of service for a couple of weeks.

It is indeed HD06 & 67017.

Engine issues on one of the 197s for the 19:30 meant they couldn’t split and had to remain a 5 car so V66 Mk4 formed as far as Crewe.

Main Generator went, presumably Load bank etc,
I had heard a re paint rumour !

With the Marches expected to be closed until end of service tomorrow unlikely to see any Mk4 sets for the duration of the closure.

A logistical issue too for stabling as all 7 sets are north of the block. 2 sets ended last night in Shrewsbury. Crewe is already full so I believe at least one will head to Crewe ETD, the other potentially to Holyhead for stabling.

There is a 5Z03 path in
06.40 Shrewsbury - Holyhead
But that’s not left yet.
