Right then;

1. The journey starts at a station that is a shadow of its former self.
2. Had you been doing the journey in BR days it would have been on a named train
3. At the destination you can enjoy a reasonably priced pint in one of the former station buildings.
4. The journey can only be made on one TOC

Well we have a start station and some stock...

Finally, yes, t'was indeed Welshpool to Aberystwyth on a ATW 158.

We have rolling stock.

5) This journey is only possible direct once a day, at other times it takes at least one or two changes.
