Clue 5: it is only possible to travel to two other stations directly from this one

Third clue: The line through this station is not electrified and trains belonging to a second TOC pass through it, without stopping, once a week during the Summer.

Yes....Well done. Had you not guessed correctly, the next clue would have been "Although this station has only one platform, it has two running lines". The second TOC is, of course West Coast Railway Company, which passes through with the Scarborough Spa Express or Scarborough Flyer on Summer Thursdays. Over to you @martinsh !
