It was scenario 16b in this pack for the ECML Merge.LOVE a blunt end 91! Which scenario was this?
Not being very up the simulation side of things, what’s going on here then?
I thought it was some sort of strange Victorian contraption - you've heard of the police 37 and 47, here's a police wagon. Could often be seen running along the MML in steam days - they'd push it down gradients, and then it'd be attached to the rear of a passing train to get up the inclines. Not being very up the simulation side of things, what’s going on here then?
That’s pretty cool. What other hidden Easter Egg things are there?
Amen to thatYeah they are lovely people!! I find most of them to be all mouth & no action. They seem to like throwing stuff at my 158's, spitting off bridges on the windscreen, hiding in toilets to avoid paying fares, standing as close to the edge of the platform as possible regardless if you are stopping there or if you are going through at 90mph. (still I find the windscreen washer & wiper combo works well there, takes a bit of timing but the results are worth it when you manage to smack some gobby chav in the face with a load of foam & water from a wiper flick) . If my guard is a good one & will give back up then I always confront them on train if they start getting annoying & being overly loud behind the drivers door or like the other night when they start ripping bits of trim off the train. We did have a group of rugby fans throw three non paying chavs off the train a while back, I was laughing my head off. But that was unusual, all this pollitical correctness stuff has just led to a plummet in sociaty's standards & most people are too afraid to stand up to them at all hence they grow stronger.
I hate to break it to you, but the post you replied to is thirteen years old.Amen to that
Those are some lovely screenshots! Being able to drive from Leeds to Kings Cross does sound really cool - a lot of people seem to like the merge.I drove a full run from Leeds to KGX last night. A very satisfying experience!

Here's the epic voyage of 1A13, from just outside Leeds, reversal at Leeds, to London Kings Cross. DVT 82215 is on the London end, and Intercitty Swallow 91119 is on the country end:

Looking forward to driving this! Have you got the updated version of the merge?
I downloaded it last night - has there been another version since then?
I’ll have to have a look. My 801s are currently invisible, with only the corridor connections and couplers visible. Not sure when it was released but yeah there’s a v1.1. It fixes the issue when you load one of the scenarios and it can’t find some of the 801 LNER AI. And a few other fixes too.
That looks like a really cool scenario - especially with that combination of engine and GNER stock. Excellent screenshots! Some more driving on the Leeds Lines Merge today, this time from KGX up to Leeds with a class 90:

Some screenshots from my recent Train Sim drives:

The Sutton and Mole Valley Lines route, freeware from AlanThomsonSim - 377309 sits at Clapham Junction with a service to London Victoria.

London Waterloo - I can't remember the scenario and I'm not sure if I drove much of it but it was nice to see the amount of AI around.

A scenario I started working on, with 444019 seen at Portsmouth on a service to London Waterloo.

444019 again - the cows don't look interested.

And then two screenshots from a drive today, starting on the excellent Northern City Line from Gü Studios at Moorgate.
I've also just realised you can see my appalling framerate in all of these - 14fps is practically a slideshow but it's better than a still picture I suppose

Thanks very much! The AP Weather EP really makes the screenshots - and the reskins of course.Very nice indeed. Love that one of 444019 at Portsmouth.
