They are brilliant! Would be cool if presets could be downloaded. Makes the game look incredible!Couple of images from over the last year or so. All images use my own reshade preset, AP Skies/Tracks, and a variety of different DLC addons.

Sure thing, I've attached my presets below. I typically play with the non-DoF one, and use the DoF ones for screenshots. I've set up Ctrl+PgUp/PgDn as hotkeys to switch between presets, so I typically just enter the external camera, hide the UI if it's visible, and pause the game, before setting up my shot.
In game. I'm using Reshade, which is what Railworks Enhancer is based on, but for free instead. When you say you use shaders, do you mean in-game, or you apply the shaders post-screenshot? If so, what shader pack do you use in-game, as I'm assuming it's not Railworks Enhancer?

The Armstrong Powerhouse sky and weather pack is a great way to fix that - it's what I'm using.I'll have to have a look at that. I've struggled getting the sky to look good on some routes with RWE Pro as you'll see from the below screenshot of mine. The clouds and sky looks horrific in the latter screenshots:

Just to let you know... It works rather well.
Under SteamOS I can have 30fps with pretty high settings. Of course it remains TrainSim so when you reach Clapham Junction with 10 AI trains added the framerate drops to 20 ish, but it is still playable.
I encountered several issues that I was able to iron out over time and by re-installing the whole thing time and time again. But that is fine if you keep learning about the Stemdeck and get better results every time.
The Londo-Brighton route didn't give me any issues but London-Peterborough wouldn't load at all as the system couldn't handle the .ap file structure. This was solved by increasing the decks SwapFile from 1 to 16GB and Vram from 1 to 4GB. (tutorial).
It now loads the route fine.
Portable train simming guys.... I have the sim running on a 256GB CF card on my 256GB Deck, but you can easily get away with the 64GB Steamdeck and getting the same results. A new SSD is much cheaper to install afterwards then getting the more expansive option from Valve.
I picked up Railworks Enhancer Pro, adjusted my Reshade preset to fit with the new effects, and spent some time applying the AP Weather Pack skies to all of my routes. I'm pretty pleased with the results!

Sure - it's pretty close to the default, but with a few minor tweaks.Would you be able to share your RWEnhancer preset please? I love the way this looks!

A few screenies of a recent drive. Only an AP scenario but at least it was something to do!
More South Wales thrash!
Looks very nice! Here are a series of images of a run with LNER 801201 between Newcastle and York. This is part of a series of scenarios I'm making based on LNER's once-per-day service from Glasgow Central to Kings Cross (1E06).
Oh wow, these are in incredible. What are the US routes?I picked up Railworks Enhancer Pro, adjusted my Reshade preset to fit with the new effects, and spent some time applying the AP Weather Pack skies to all of my routes. I'm pretty pleased with the results!
From memory... the CSX one is B&O Mountain Subdivision: Cumberland - Grafton, and the Santa Fe/Burlington Northern one is the Montana Hi-Line route.Oh wow, these are in incredible. What are the US routes?
Cheers. Are those the included locomotives or aftermarket? From memory... the CSX one is B&O Mountain Subdivision: Cumberland - Grafton, and the Santa Fe/Burlington Northern one is the Montana Hi-Line route.

Ooh, it looks very flash.Little teaser of the route building!
