Can't answer for certain but I'm sure somebody mentioned that the first weekend diagram was scheduled for the Bank Holiday weekend so if not tomorrow it'll be Sunday. Bank Holiday Mondays are broadly a normal timetable.

Ok, thanks. Not specifically going for them but if any out would take a look and possibly a short ride!

An "insider" (Post #1511) has said they are not out at weekends. I'm only the messenger in case anything changes but they will probably be out in the May Timetable

Just posted similar in the Northern 769 thread but does anyone know if 769426 is for TfW - I believed it was but have been made aware that it is currently sporting the Northern livery with "Flex" branding so I am now confused as to who it is destined for!

426 is for TFW. It was delivered with only three coaches as the forth had corrosion issues I think. The northern branded one is only temporary I believe.

Thanks for that. I'm wondering if it was the initial one that Porterbrook did (769000 I think?!?) as a demonstrator in the Northern livery.

It's all back at Loughborough now according to the info I have received

The Northern vehicle was borrowed to allow movement

Oh, so it was only the one vehicle out of the 4 in Northern livery?

07:07/10:07/13:07/16:07/19:07 Penarth to Bargoed
08:46/11:46/14:46/17:46/20:46 Bargoed to Penarth
22:07 Penarth to Cardiff C

202 (150258 today)
06:46/09:46/12:46/15:46 Bargoed to Penarth
08:07/11:07/14:07/17:07 Penarth to Bargoed
18:46 Bargoed to Cardiff C

203 (150253 today)
Ecs Canton to Penarth
06:07/09:07/12:07/15:07/18:07 Penarth to Bargoed
07:46/10:46/13:46/16:46 Bargoed to Penarth

22:24 Cardiff Central to Rhymney.

Not looking too positive that with just 3 diagrams only 1 is a 769.

The way it's going I won't ne surprised if we see a couple of 143s still out abd about right up to the end of this year

No that's not promising is it. Aren't there meant to be 6 x 769 diagrams out from today?

2 week extension on pacer use. Official derogation ends 31st May and there won’t be another.

Which is superb timing, because that's the start of half term week, which the weather forecasters are predicting will be warm & dry in Wales after a throughly wet May. So short forms to Barry Island will go down well.

TfW really do need to perform miracles with 769 training and reliability in the next 2 weeks.

To be fair though there should be an extra 3 769s to replace the 4 remaining 143 diagrams so should be on a par with now if the 150s are released to replace the 143s.

Don't you think that TFW are already doing their level best ?

My opinion Tfw are doing their level best and not only that but going well beyond the needs off execptiton etc. By going that extra mile. All around using all Pacers to the very very end. And any 769s are out. Avoiding any cancellations possible and any shortformed booked working.
Unlike northern which are standing in the hall off shame. For last November when Pacers withdrew early and customers left behind.
Most certainly TFW need to be highly recommended for what they are doing at the momment. Even the security staff are very excellent as well especially on the valley lines in this challenging circumstances.
It's a pleasure to travel on tfw Pacers and 769 at the momment. Tfw again in my opinion are working hard and need praise for this . Well done tfw in very hard circumstances beyond your control
