That'd be mu suggestions of Weymouth out as well then!I don't think Newhaven Marine counts, it had no trains for nearly a decade and is totally unaccessable and in all effect, it's closed.

Achanalt, Achnasheen, Achnashellac
Dorking, Dorking Deepdene and Dorking West
And, likewise, I've been on trains where 'Edinburgh Haymarket' has been announced.
They sound like wood furniture finishes.![]()
Sheffield, Dronfield and Chesterfield.

If we take the "shared part of names" rule a bit more liberally, then there is the sequence of 3 'W's* on the SW lines:
Take a slow up from Guildford then the station sequence is:
Worplesdon.
Woking
West Byfleet
* Before June '62 when Byfleet & New Haw was called West Weybridge, the sequence was of six 'W's, i.e.:
Worplesdon
Woking
West Byfleet
West Weybridge
Weybridge
Walton on Thames
What a shame that the name was changed.
Prior to the opening of Heathrow Terminal 5, it was possible to travel Hounslow East, Central and West, Hatton Cross, the 2 Heathrows, back to Hatton then the three Hounslows again in reverse order: 10 consecutive calls with the same initial albeit with some repetition!
In another reality, where Marina remained open and West St Leonards had East Coastway platforms built... St Leonards Warrior Square, West St Leonards, St Leonards West Marina...
Surely that's still possible? Half the trains still run round the Terminal 4 - Terminals 123 loop.
Sheffield, Dronfield and Chesterfield.
Surely my four 'Roads' must qualify? What this has told me. It is very rare to find three consecutive station names with a common word which isn't referring to the same feature, i.e. the "parks" and "hills" in my examples are different parks and hills (and so would be the field in Chesterfield etc.), but Exeter, Barry, International for example is the same Exeter, Barry and International, for all the stations in the series.
