Bridge now open to pedestrians. City (North) pavement today 20th Dec being used by the Public.Work has commenced on dismantling the ramps and temporary side cladding on the Moray Place Footbridge. Looking from the Darnley Road side of the track it looks as though everything on the Moray Place side has been removed. Road surfacing being almost completed
Railsigns is a very good website, and the ‘Supplementary information’ section, especialy the level crossing section really makes me think of track diagrams.
I really hope I can leave London on Tuesday with a 100cm BLÅHAJ.

The shark is for uhhhhhh research purposes...

Hi, I am wondering if you by any chance have the theme for The Wessex Electrics. The topic is closed and the onedrive link is dead.
TIA
Keep up the good work with Part Time Spotter. I appreciate it and I suspect many others do. There is loads I wish you could do but it is not your fault there is only one of you !. It is a toss up between new fleets and the ebbing of declining fleets. I try to ignore that which is approaching the cutters torch - no Westerns to agonise over nowadays !.

And remember there will always be moaners I am afraid.

In Reigate it starts getting dark by half 4 and pitch black by 5. I don't know about anyone else but I think I'd be fine with retaining BST for a little longer just to have that extra hour of light, even if it does mean the sun rises slightly later.

In the west mids it gets dark at about half four, the sun sets at four.
Wait until the people who decided to call it the 'Routeing [sic] Guide' realise that they've added an extra 'e' to the word 'routing' for no reason...

Why is the extra 'e' wrong?

'Routeing' is the present participle of route in UK English.
I'm lost on the world of media and the railways, I should be a proper, actual scientific professor or a renowned philosopher
Why is this unfunny Mr Bean impersonating social credit score loving mogaladon our prime minister?

I have heard of a Megalodon (a shark) but would be pleased to have my knowledge expanded by being informed what Mogaladon is.
My first real dental issue in about 15 years: a fractured/chipped tooth. Wonderful. :/

Book an appointment sooner than later would be my advice, the waiting periods are still really long.

Yes, that is a good idea. Will be doing so at the first opportunity.

Not the first time I've been to the one on Sauchiehall St, had to go when in my early 10s to have teeth removed (IIRC, it's been over 15 years). The one thing I remember from that is that I was (unsurprisingly) throwing up blood for the rest of the day. I expect much the same here if the tooth has to come out and be replaced with a filling.

Update: managed to get an emergency appointment for 9:30 this morning (cutting it close even when leaving before 8 thanks to roadworks/rush-hour traffic). Got a partial filling/crown (feels strange, but I'll get used to that in time). In the medium/long term, I'll be needing a root canal treatment.
The rules of the Closed Stations Journey quiz are on the very first posting of that quiz. I see that we both joined the website in 2011.
