    Pendolinos in preservation?

I'm sure some of the longer preserved lines could host an HST, ie the NYMR or the West Somerset etc etc. I'm not sure, however if they will need purpose built facilites or if the power cars will be equally at home served in a preservation sites loco shed.

    Pendolinos in preservation?

but the NRM should not make it their main priority. There's loads of stuff in the National Collection thats just rusting and decaying away that could do with just a fraction of the money spent on Flying Scotsman!

    Pendolinos in preservation?

I still doubt the NRM would be interested as they only seem to think steam matters and plough so much money into the Flying Scotsman, fetch me that oxy torch! (although it did look good in BR condition with the smoke defectors)

    Snowdon Mountain Railway

It seems they don't want the Entusuast coin. Never mind, I think the Welsh Highland may be more deserving of our custom. Does anyone know if the Pullman Car is in use everyday and how much extra it costs?

Basically I want to know if the trains will be going all the way to the summit, what traction will be in operation and...
