Thank you, how do I get in touch with the OPC?For the applicants that have sat assessments (recently) before and passed. You will be exempt from repeating certain assessments. The OPC will know what assessments you have done and what you don’t have to do. The OPC are handling this recruitment drive, so it’s nothing to do with ARL till the OPC give them the green light about you.
If your level of “Enhanced” matches the ARL requirements, you won’t have to sit those assessments again. The OPC will know.
Applications are being done in batches, no news is good news. Just be patient. I speak from experience with that one.
Any questions (for people who have done assessments previously) message the OPC, they respond pretty quick but for new applicants, again just be patient and good luck on your assessment days.
I took mine 3 weeks ago and just got invited to the DMIAnyone heard anything from stage 2?
Took mine last Wednesday so hoping to hear something soon
You reckon it’s worth calling OPC about it? I’m in the same boat 3 weeks so it’s way pass the 7-10 days mark they sayWas it a phone call or an email?
Was it a phone call or an email?
Congratulations btw! Best of of luck with with your DMII took mine 3 weeks ago and just got invited to the DMI
2am?? That’s such a random time. That you passed stage 2?I got an email about 2am saying I passed the phases (unfortunately to far away apparently! 47 mins on AA planner)
2.22am to be exact lol2am?? That’s such a random time. That you passed stage 2?
Honestly you should be proud of yourself mate! Now you’ll be fast tracked to a DMI with TOC’s (as long as it don’t require CBI which the majority don’t) congratulations!2.22am to be exact lol
Glad I passed but shame about distance
That's annoying as I'm in the same boat but thought they would've checked that earlier before paying to test us.I got an email about 2am saying I passed the phases (unfortunately to far away apparently! 47 mins on AA planner)
I thought it would have been checked before now but it is what it is. Traffic makes it over an hour for me but I go to work on a motorbike so filtering makes traffic less of a thing but what can ya do!That's annoying as I'm in the same boat but thought they would've checked that earlier before paying to test us.
Was hoping I was passed that check.
If I do get turned away hopefully I'll be fast tracked for bletchley
I am proud but more relived I won't have to do them for 3/5 years lolHonestly you should be proud of yourself mate! Now you’ll be fast tracked to a DMI with TOC’s (as long as it don’t require CBI which the majority don’t) congratulations!

31 mins to bletchley so hopefully ok for that!Whats your distance to Bletchley? I also got an email with the 'too far denied'.
I'm around 40mins from Bletchley but they currently got roadworks my way which push it up during the day, before this email I wasnt worried about distance at all, but now I'm pretty concerned
The last thing I expected to hear at this stage was you live too far, I was expecting a pass or fail on stage 2, not in my mind it was going to be that kind of email.
Anyone have a contact to get in touch with the OPC
Type on Google search “OPC Watford” the number comes up. If there’s any consolation I rang them it was pointless and a dismissive conversation. Told me Arriva has the results they cant share that information only give feedback once the result is known. What I don’t like they be going on like you ain’t patient like it ain’t been over three weeks. When they stated themselves 7-10 days. People that don’t know how to deliver good customer service is my pet peeve (I’ve done the job over 10 years) it don’t cost nothing to be polite! Like we ain’t anxious enough?? I’m frustrated by that conversation. So if you in the same boat don’t bother calling ain’t worth it. Contact Arriva (the woman that emailed you) me personally I’ll wait till Monday before I email if haven’t heard anythingAnyone have a contact to get in touch with the OPC
Did you get any joy here? The issue is, is with the new recruitment advisor called Alexandra. She is refusing to go through any of the old applications from people. The head of recruitment in the whole Arriva group has also asked her to contact anyone who was in the old recruitment progress.
I'm trying to find out who her upper manager is....
Andy was a great help but is now focusing only on XC.

The OPC made it quite clear on the day I attended that once you've left the stage 2 assessment its out of there hands and all moves over to Arriva and they would be the point of contact.
You found out today?Received a bitter sweet email.
I was on my “2nd life” for OPC!
The good news - I passed psychometrics
The bad news - Arriva won’t proceed as I live too far from the depot.
I’ve asked how they calculate distance & if there was other nearer depots (Liverpool Street / Ilford?)
For reference I live within Greater London & when I checked the maps say i’m 45 min drive away…
(I think they’ve worked it out using public transport which would be 90 Min door to door)
Now have to find TOC/FOC taking on trainees
Fair enough, my point was politeness. Don’t need to be dismissive or aggravated when dealing with an enquiry after over 3 weeks of waiting I’m sure it’s pretty human for anxious candidates to miss that “quite clear on the day” statement lol.The OPC made it quite clear on the day I attended that once you've left the stage 2 assessment its out of there hands and all moves over to Arriva and they would be the point of contact.
They've not calculated it on public transport but more so by car etc and have most likely candidates that are 10 to 30mins by car average thru all different times of the day for example.Received a bitter sweet email.
