The 390s do look nice in full livery.390136 seen this morning looking very shiny in it's full livery
They all had bogie damage due to the floods early in the winter. Obtaining parts has been the issue in regards to returning to service. 221132 is now back in service and 221140 will be returning very soonWhat on earth happened there?
Ah ok, that explains it.They all had bogie damage due to the floods early in the winter. Obtaining parts has been the issue in regards to returning to service. 221132 is now back in service and 221140 will be returning very soon

That’s a shame, I think the Vinyls would look good on the white livery.221107 back in service

And just to confirm, 221101 is staying in the livery it is

Looks a little uninspired.number unknown. credit to @Train_Planehub on Twitter
Thank you.221106 has just had the new vinyls applied
Mind you the whole Avanti branding is a bit corporate and forgetable!Looks a little uninspired.
The flat cloth in standard is concerning. Do train companies never learn their lesson? Even the refurbished Voyagers have moquette.Seen a render of the new interior, not sure if public.
First Class keeps the same seat frame, but the cushions look bigger. They are now in dark blue leather too. Head cushion is white with AWC logo on it, the cushion is very large.
Second class has new seats, first thing I noticed was an armrest at the window seat - let's hope that is present on the final product. Can't recognise the seat design, but it looks okay. Headrest has large wings, armrests seem VERY small though. Material appears to be the same as what the 800 seats where delivered in, a shame. Dark blue overall, with a light grey headest area, and an orange line of stitching along the bottom of this.
Overall looks quite dull and soulless, but smart and understated. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.
Is that the same as the first class in the refurbished voyagers?First Class keeps the same seat frame, but the cushions look bigger. They are now in dark blue leather too. Head cushion is white with AWC logo on it, the cushion is very large.
It looks similar, very cheap and fake looking blue and grey leather. Is that the same as the first class in the refurbished voyagers?
It's not dissimilar! Is that the same as the first class in the refurbished voyagers?
