It had a fault in the end so didnt happen. Ran as a 150+3x153 to Cardiff, 150 to Crewe then 2 different 153s+150 from Crewe to Manchester. 5 were involved in that working just in the end never all ran together.

153909+153369 were parked at Crewe (with 153922) this morning so were presumably added there. Posting elsewhere indicated that 150254 was the 150 involved.

TFW 153972 (non-PRM) yesterday worked the Shrewsbury to Crewe single handed and not attached to a compliant unit. Unfortunately the DFT website showing derogation letters showing updates from 31 May haven't been published to enable me to check in detail.

FOLLOW ON:-

Have been told that that it only did one round trip as an emergency thus avoiding the cancellation

Yes it is at worksop with the extra crossrail coaches and 144s.
However pls note 153302 is badly stripped. No doors at cab end x4 . And bits missing underneath.
Ie doors have robbed for another unit.
Just passed it now whilst on my way to get the move to worksop yard. 465 466 thread information.
This could well be the first 153 to go for scrap or spares ie broke up on site and parts and by a low loader for scrap.
It does look battered and in a sorry state sad to see.

UPDATE X4 153 EX west Midlands trains in the old London Midlands livery have moved from 153356 133365 153334 and another of which sadly I couldn't get the number off due it missing off the side.
Just looking rather battered on the side paint wise mainly due to the weather. Due to being stored at burton ot Wetmore sidings has move today on Monday the 28th June 2021 5z80 1049 burton ot Wetmore sidings to long marston.
Possible reuse tfw.
However pls can someone pls assist further with the other 153 on this.
However x4 ex lm/wmr now moved to long marston

i doubt tfw would be taking them on they have already 9 prm compliant units 2 prm lite and are working on the rest of their fleet

With the continual 769 fleet issues I really wouldn't be surprised if TfW do take on more 153s. They would be ideal to attach to a 150 on the Rhymney line, many services of which are only covered by single 150s if a 769 fails.
TfW are reducing the number of 769s planned to be out each day due to on going issues.
