Not me thankfully but on of the Norwich drivers links will be to mitigate issues should LHCS not get an extension beyond the 31st March.
I'm amazed that this hasn't been done already so that the bins can cover a proper diagram. There has been an ad hoc pair ever since Norwich in 90 started.

745006 came out to play on 1630 ex Norwich. I believe it needed a reset at Diss but completed the turn.
Yes it did well. Was 27L up road & after an 8L start returning from Liv.St it was still only 8L into Norwich after losing its path.

Any chance all four will be diagramed out tomorrow?

321s have been covering ‘proper’ diagrams worked by Liverpool St and Ipswich crews who already sign 321s, with the odd tweak to diagrams to make it all fit.

Perhaps the instructors were busy training on the class 745s. They aren’t an infinite resource, and only so many crews can be released each day for training. Only now that the other class 745 / 755 training is more or less complete can they turn their attention to the next issue.

does rebooting entail shutting down the loco and restarting it? also what is causing the need for a reboot

Shutting down the train. No loco involved. Process takes around 5-7mins & done from the TMS screen in either cab.

The pair that does the 06:25 down does the 10:30 back up, so it switches from one diagram to another at that point. Meanwhile the 0900/0930/1000 out of Norwich all have tight step ups off the down trains that arrive a few minutes earlier. As far as I know, none of this is diagrammed. It's all done by control on the day. Given that they were already using a pair of 321s almost daily prior to May last year, it must have been obvious that they would require a second pair to release a 90 to cover the Norwich in 90 trains.

It must be a hauled set issue. The 07:05 which would work the 09:30 was reduced to four coaches and terminated at Ipswich. Presumably that was a 755.
Are 755s cleared for passenger service south of Colchester? Either that or it was 4 coaches locked out of use. Or a 321 being terminated early.

9:30 was an 8 car 321 when it terminated at Ipswich.

106 is out doing fault free running on the GEML today

I assume the 07:05 was a 4 car 755 as on arrival at Ipswich it worked the 08:01 to PBO, which should have been worked off the 07:44 arrival from Lowestoft but that was cancelled.

As the 0930 Liverpool St-Norwich was terminated at Ipswich, the return 1200 Norwich-Liverpool St was formed from the 1000 Liverpool St-Norwich (745010), so it was then running half an hour earlier than its normal diagram. The 1030 Liverpool St-Norwich similarly formed the 1230 Norwich-Liverpool St - 90006. (It was held up leaving London so didn’t arrive Norwich until 1234 and left at 1239). The “Norwich in 90” 1100 Liverpool St (which was around Norwich in 105, as the Lowestoft train stole its platform) formed the 1300 Norwich. Presumably they found another set to operate the evening Norwich in 90

Signalling problems meant the East Suffolk train got canned and sent to Ipswich via Diss instead. A good bit of initative by control saw it run in service.

09:27 ECS cancelled from London to provide the 09:30 by the looks of it.

Apologies if this is to be found elsewhere, but could anyone direct me to a Class 745 seating plan?

009 looks like it's been accepted today and the 05:00up diagram should go Stadler from Monday. It really is happening at last.
