I'm hoping to get an HST LDS to DHM on Oct 4th. Published diagrams imply 1S51 and 1S53. The latter, acc. to RTT:-

"Starts as High Speed Train, changes en route..."

Could someone kindly explain that to me please? Does it actually swap trains?

RTT also gives 1S49 and 1S55 as HSTs. Can that be corroborated?

Many Thanks

RTT does not tell you what is booked. That is the timings, as has been pointed out many times on this thread. S51 & S53 are the normal M-F diagrams between those two stations.

Does anyone know the HST diagrams for weekends over the next few weeks and months please; is there anything different than the usual diagrams, such as for engineering works?

Also, are there any diversions planned?

Many thanks in advance :)

1V50 - 0606 Edinburgh - Plymouth

1V52 - 0701 Edinburgh - Bristol TM
1S55 - 1539 Bristol TM - Edinburgh

Are trains in general normal service on the 27th this year, it being a Monday? Only asking here as it probably won't warrant its own thread.

I'm also interested in January diagrams, especially 8th/9th January and also 15th/16th January, when you get the chance :)

Looking on RTT it looks like the diagrams for the 8th, 15th & 16th January are all normal (provided them below) but on the 9th there is going to be diversions via Newport again so I am sure @221129 will confirm those soon.

Sat 8th & 15th:

1V44 06:11 Leeds to Plymouth
1S51 12:27 Plymouth to Edinburgh

1V50 06:06 Edinburgh to Plymouth

1V52 06:58 Edinburgh to Plymouth
1E67 16:27 Plymouth to Leeds

Sun 16th:

1S51 12:27 Plymouth to Edinburgh

1V48 08:11 Leeds to Plymouth
1S55 14:27 Plymouth to Edinburgh

1V56 09:08 Edinburgh to Plymouth
1E75 18:27 Plymouth to Leeds

I believe Leeds is closed on Sunday 2nd January 2022.

Services that start and terminate at Leeds, will now start and terminate at Wakefield Westgate.

Services North of Leeds will divert and or go direct between Swinton & Chuch Fenton to and from York.

Exactly the reason that I ask

Does anyone know what the HSTs will run on this day?

I read something earlier today (I think it is just a rumour but I am not sure) which said that after Sunday 28th November, the XC HSTs are going to be stood down because of a drivers union overtime agreement expiring or something along those lines so I am assuming if this does happen then voyagers will have to take over the HST's diagrams until whenever...???
