Yes, it is normally 1S45 09:27 Plymouth Aberdeen. However is running as 1Z45 11:35 Bristol TM - Dundee today due to an incident in the South West.Is this usually a Aberdeen service?
Must of been a while since XC HST been up past Dundee.
They do largely the same diagrams every week.I'm planning on putting together a Class 43 round-trip as soon as Covid allows non essential travel. Reading the last months posts, it seems the XC HSTs work different diagrams each day? How far before day of travel would I be able to build my itinerary, and where is the best place to get the info?
Ideally looking for a morning trip Sheffield to Newcastle and afternoon Birmingham to Bristol - are either likely to be viable?
Not usually, the general usage of the HSTs is southbound through Birmingham in the morning and northbound through Birmingham in the afternoon or evening...Ideally looking for a morning trip Sheffield to Newcastle and afternoon Birmingham to Bristol - are either likely to be viable?
Next to no chance.morning trip Sheffield to Newcastle
Only on a Sunday.afternoon Birmingham to Bristol
These are the normal diagrams which is normally southbound in the morning and northbound in the afternoon. Thanks so much for that. Obviously, I reed to re-think my itinerary but it still seems doable, tying in Scotrail Inter7City, EMR and GWR CastlesThese are the normal diagrams which is normally southbound in the morning and northbound in the afternoon. any chance of sharing your itinerary when you have worked it up? would be interesting to see as it sounds like a good plan! Thanks so much for that. Obviously, I reed to re-think my itinerary but it still seems doable, tying in Scotrail Inter7City, EMR and GWR Castles
Likely a test run for a power car(s) and/or set off repair - it's fairly standard for Laira to run such a test run. I think 43384 has been on a major exam recently, but no idea if that's the one being tested.Anyone got any information on tomorrows test from Laira to Laira via Newton Abbot: Realtime Trains - 5Z43 0900 Laira T.& R.S.M.D. to Laira T.& R.S.M.D.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Are all HST today
What I posted this morning.Does anyone know what set 43366 & 43239 are currently on? Looking back at the posts, it was on XC02 on the 9th.
They were always, when I used them, very well loaded, I think because they had a cheaper XC only fare than scotrail, as well of course because of the frequent direct links from the east coast to Motherwell and Glasgow central. I really do hope so, I enjoyed using them as opposed to SR!Nice to see HST at Glasgow Central, if it wasn't for the restrictions Id gone a jolly. Makes me wonder if XC full timetable will ever come back to Glasgow.
