Ashbourne?
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Has Meridian richard gone on his holidays?

Although I hate to presume, I'm almost sure "Ashbourne" is right, so I'll post the next poser, and willingly withdraw it if my original answer proves wrong.

Agatha's nephew
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
24 hours later, so time for a clue:-

Dahlia's nephew too.

That confirms the man in question is Bertram Wilberforce Wooster, Sadly, however, although all three names are towns in the USA none of them exist in Britain. Although there is no indication in the clue that it is the sound that matters I beleive the answer to be Worcester.

For some reason I think of Beaconsfield...

It's not right though.

"Model" in the clue is a verb. The town does not have a National Rail station.

It does have a station served by a heritage line.

Model he made in a town(8)

So close to the correct answer it would be unfair to ask you to have another go

I was looking for Dover

And finally (D is last letter of and))

Its finished (over)

Your go

Blokes ride in a Midlands town

===========================
Hint: the last three words are simple description - you are looking for a town in the English Midlands, which, in accordance with my practice on this thread, does not have a railway station.

Do the Charleston dance

Clue

No train station. East of England and Charleston really does dance
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Dance in this context means to move around ( the letters of Charleston)
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Final Clue

Its an anagram of Charleston and its in Lincolnshire
